The hotel's location is decent. While it's a little walk from the main street and the palace, its quietness and lack of crowds are a major advantage. The rooms are spotless, and the housekeeping staff are very diligent. The hotel breakfast is good, and the service staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
Room was okay but not very okay because trip.com purchase through 3rd party tiket.com and did not pass the room we choose non-smoking, so we ended up with room for a smoker and same level for all room for smoking. Hotel did a good gesture after we make a call to Mr. Bagus to solve this matter as hotel was full house to make sure our room comfortable, the housekeeping did change our sheet, and everything in bed also spray our room with perfume to make smoke odor gone. I was hopeless actually because the 3rd party was tiket.com local travel agent online which wasn't reliable like traveloka they are the same. But trip.com already apologize for the mistake and offer us as gesture a goodwill for their mistake, so I won't take any further action or complain as the hotel management already tried their best solved our problem. Thank you. I hope this never happen again in the future, they need double check and make sure their agreement with 3rd party is gone through very well and no mistake happen again
Place is amazing! Friendly staff all around. Staff greeted with genuine warmth and make effort to know the guests. Was there for consecutive five bfasts, and towards the end, staff can serve you your favs as they have been attentive to the needs. Never had such experience before!
Location can be a little off the main areas but nothing too great that can’t be fixed with private hire transport.
This hotel has an abundance of amenities that one could spend hours there to enjoy what the place has to offer. My kid enjoyed fishing at the pond too!
Highly recommended for families!
A good hotel in a good location that’s got a weak spot, which is its food. We had a double room that was a great size with a very big bed furnished with comfortable linen. The a/c worked well and was relatively quiet. There was in room tea and coffee and bottled water.
We ate at the hotel twice, and declined breakfast after looking to see what was available. For breakfast, while we were around 40 minutes from the end of service the food looked meagre and unappetising. There was the opportunity to have omelettes etc, but we decided against it.
We ate in the rooftop restaurant, ordering spaghetti bolognese, chicken wings, spring rolls and a pizza. The food took a while to arrive and when it did it all came at once. All of the food was tepid at best and seemed as if it had been waiting to be collected and brought from the ground floor to the top floor. The bolognese was acceptable with the pasta being cooked al dente. The spring rolls had gone soggy and the wings, being just warm, were cooked ok but the sauce they were covered in was sickly sweet. The pizza was not cooked. The toppings appeared to be cooked but the base was raw. The dough was uncooked and inedible. We pointed this out and we were told it could be cooked further. We decided that probably wouldn’t improve it much. The staff offered a replacement, but again we decided that it would take too long and asked for it to be taken off the bill.
The second time we ate at the hotel we used the ground floor restaurant. Once again the food was disappointing. The oxtail soups contained beef that was not tender but tough, although the clear broth was tasty. The pasta of beef Alfredo, which was advertised as containing beef, mushrooms, etc was served with just a few pieces of what looked like smoked beef in a claggy sauce. Again, it appeared as if the meal had been sitting on the counter waiting for the waiters to deliver it to the table and had lost its heat. The fruit salad platter and banana fritters were very good.
Service at the hotel, from reception staff through to housekeeping was very good.
Overall, I’d stay again by I would avoid the restaurants.

Overall the stay was very comfortable. Room was big for 2 pax and bed was comfortable. Good TV channels. Location wise, it is opposite the train station and walking distance to malioboro. Despite being close to train station, the room was quiet. Breakfast was good. Food at restaurant (or can order Room service) was really memorable I.e. iga bakar and pisang goreng keju. Very good service by hotel staff. Overall, recommended and we will definitely come back here again.
+ good location, so many restaurants, cafes, and convenient stores around, close to a big mall as well, nice gym and a great infinity pool with view, and very affordable for the room that you get, staffs were nice, mini kitchen and utensils
- the non-smoking room still had smoke smell left, dusts in the corners, smelly cabinets (there are a lot of cabinets but we ended up not using them bcs of the odor).
Recommended for a short stay, hopefully they can clean up the room and the bad odor inside all the cabinets more thoroughly
Comfortable stay, room was adequate and fresh. We enjoy our stay and breakfast is delicious. We like the design, bed, pillow and even bathroom are clean. Will be back again if visiting this city. One more thing hotel near mall and walkable
Where to begin? The Manohara hotel is simply amazing. The ambiance, the staff, the facilities, and even the fragrance you can feel in the air. It had one the greatest and most complete breakfasts we have ever had. You will find a great variety both for western or eastern turists. Even a cotton candy station!
We put the bar, the restaurant, the spa, the gym and even the laundry service to the test and the result was always incredible. Thank you, everyone!
The room was clean, and all facilities worked well. The service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety, and there was spacious parking available. The bathroom was also clean. Its location is excellent, being close to Malioboro and Tugu Station. Right next to the hotel, you'll find plenty of convenient small shops, local food stalls like *lalapan* and *angkringan*, and even places to buy traditional Jogja souvenirs. I would definitely recommend this hotel for future visits to Yogyakarta.

GGuest UserLovely wide variety of breakfast items but would be better if those food are hot from early opening hours at 6am! Staff at Noodles/Soup, Eggs and Waffles stations at breakfast venue were excellent, always courteous and cheerful!
Would be good if able to remove mold stains in bathrooms.

GGuest UserThe hotel was extremely close to airport, but far away from anything to actually do in the area. The staff were excellent and the facilities were fantastic, beautiful hotel. The food was good but a little pricey, do not use Laundry in motel, very expensive, this was the only down side while staying there.
FfendyjainudinMy 2nd time checked in here, love much on hotel environment super cozy for couples or small family blend on 360 natures and Jogja arts, suitable for anyone look up for staycation from city/work life with morning view Merapi Mountain and huge pools with “Bali” style. Non-toddler friendly as kids jungle park and treehouse dedicated for kids 4y/o - 12 y/o
GGuest UserDisappointing. I’ve stayed at the Kimaya a few times before, and it’s not as good as it was. The best thing about the hotel is the friendly car park staff. The rooms are dated, the bed not particularly comfortable, the bathroom badly laid out, small, smelly, and veritably not spotlessly clean. I don’t blame the cleaners - how do you clean a bath when you have no access to it?
The reception staff are superficially friendly and efficient enough. Our biggest gripe was that the hotel refuses to take food delivery, which must be left outside by the gate. And they won’t tell you that it’s arrived. It’s a strange policy, especially considering the room service menu is not that great.
Breakfast is ok, again, not as good as it was.
As a regular visitor to Jogja, I hoped that the Kimaya would be my regular hotel for many years. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be back.

PPingshuixiangfeng109Facilities: A new hotel with comprehensive amenities.
Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean.
Environment: Superb, offering bright, open views and a beautiful landscape.
Service: Incredibly thoughtful and friendly.
Overall, the hotel's location is fantastic for airport access. It's very close and provides a shuttle service that gets you there in just a few minutes. This is incredibly convenient for catching early flights, as you don't have to rush or wake up at dawn. The food is also delicious, and the prices are very reasonable, making the overall value for money exceptional.
GGuest UserLovely hotel with very amiable staff. The premise is clean and well taken care of. The staff is present but in a very surreptious manner, not in your face, highly polite and always willing to support us. However, the breakfast menu could do with a bit more variety. Breakfast was lovely but limiting. I would stay here again.
GGuest UserRight in the heart of Mariorbor. Staff super friendly and obliging. Rented a motorcycle from reception 100k per day..always feel more comfortable arranging via hotel. Only complaint …food via room service and restaurant good but seam to struggle to make things hot even when sent back still wasn’t hot second time..but tasty. Stayed a week so says it all that I was overall happy with my stay.
MMichaelEasiest our favourite Hotel in Yogyakarta. We have stayed at many and the welcome and generally happiness of the staff is what puts this hotel apart. Our room was neat and clean with a balcony overlooking the forecourt.
The location is good and you are able to walk to many places, although bluebird taxis are always available.
