Visiting Arctic Village and staying at Shiye Zhiyou, time truly flew by! Despite the gloomy, rainy weather, taking a moment to browse through everyone's postcard messages really brightened my spirits. The array of cultural and creative products on display was incredibly ingenious and captivating. My child even wrote some postcards here, and a friendly staff member was kind enough to help us mail them! Coincidentally, it was my birthday during our stay, and in the evening, a staff member surprised me with a bowl of birthday noodles. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture, creating a truly memorable, albeit simple, birthday celebration. This truly is a heartwarming, delightful, and engaging place.

I took my kids there. Although it's a farm stay, it's close to the airport. The rural area is vast and sparsely populated. The back door opens onto a vast snowfield, complete with a raised platform and a slide. It was a blast. All village-run farm stays have the same name, but they're all in the same village, but belong to different farmers. Ask which one you're looking for before you arrive. I booked a large kang bed for five. A large plaque reading ”Home of a Hero” was right at the entrance. It felt completely safe. We ate and drank all our meals here, and the owner cooks his own meals. I thought they were good and reasonably priced. During the ***** New Year holiday, the owner's wife told me that the village secretary had specifically requested a fruit plate, peanuts, melon seeds, candy, and frozen pears and persimmons. Thank you so much. The cleanliness was good, but there were some flaws. After all, it's not a star-rated hotel. The bathroom was flooded, but the slippers were cloth shoes. If you didn't dry the floor after taking a shower, it would get wet. It had a large kang, but it wasn't fire-burning. The electric heating mats were poor quality and broke easily. Fortunately, the wall-mounted radiators worked well, keeping the room warm. Because of the mats, the three of us shared the large kang (kang bed) in two rooms, and the kids had a blast. During my stay, the owner and his wife were very welcoming and proactively addressed any requests. But there were so many things to do, I might not remember some of them. After two nights, I realized that the heated beds required sheets. For a farm stay run by the village, it's great to see how well it's done. The hardware, service, and hygiene all need improvement.

The hotel is situated by the river, so in the evenings, we enjoyed strolling along the bank, taking in the river views, and watching people fishing and dancing. The subway station and the Chinese Baroque Historical District are just 500 meters to the south. We parked our car in the backyard and didn't touch it for our entire three-day stay. Firstly, there's a somewhat bustling flower and bird market right outside the entrance, and secondly, Harbin's subway and taxi services are so convenient that there was simply no need to drive. In fact, it's particularly well-suited for families, as our kids absolutely loved visiting the nearby market to see the cats, dogs, and parrots. The hotel is quite generous; the spacious lobby offers plenty of seating, along with complimentary coffee and bottled water. The room itself had numerous highlights: the stylish decor, a large TV, comfortable bedding, a Tmall Genie smart speaker, and excellent air conditioning and hot water.

Originally booked a normal room type, I didn't expect the staff to take the initiative to inform us that we will upgrade to a more spacious and comfortable family room for free! This is simply the best gift after the exhaustion of the journey! After the upgrade, we felt the warmth of home as soon as we entered the door. This unexpected intimateness made our first impression of the homestay superb! Thanks to the boss for his generosity! The most exciting and unforgettable stay for the children this time is definitely the yard of the homestay! The yard is decorated with entertainment facilities specially designed for children, which is safe and interesting. The most important thing is that the atmosphere of the whole yard is arranged to feel super camping! Wooden platforms, comfortable outdoor tables and chairs, star-studded ambient lights. The children ran and frolicked in it, and had a great time. Our adults sat next to rest, blowing the cool wind of the Arctic Village summer night, looking up at the sky (lucky to see the stars), this relaxed and comfortable feeling, really like camping in the forest, but it is much more comfortable and convenient than camping! This yard is definitely a major feature of Sushan B&B, a must for parents and children! The breakfast quality of the hotel is absolutely online, the variety is dazzling, it is completely the standard of a star hotel.

The layout of the house is the same as that of a hotel. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the whole house is hygienic and clean. The boss is a young man who is very happy to communicate with us. The special dinner he recommended to us is also very delicious. We wanted to finish breakfast the next day earlier and go out to play. The boss also accommodated our request. The breakfast was also very rich and delicious. We were very happy.
