There is a swimming pool, but it seems no one is using it. I checked in too late and didn't have time to enjoy the hotel's benefits. The front desk service was very good. The room was a six-person room and very quiet.

I can say this place is good to stay if you are on budget. They give a good breakfast, location is walking distance to night market, Mekong riverside, restaurant, convenient store, they provide towel, shampoo and body soap, they serve good coffee and lobby where you can rest from long walk. Thanks to friendly Ms.Tian and her team.

Located within a 5-minute walk of Wat Xieng Thong and half a mile of Night Market, Barn Laos Luangprabang Heritage provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Luang Prabang. Free WiFi throughout the property. A tour desk can provide information on the area.
At the hotel, each room has a private bathroom with a shower.
The area is popular for cycling, and bike rental is available at the accommodation.
Popular points of interest near Barn Laos Luangprabang Hostel include Mount Phousy, National Museum and Wat Nong Sikhounmuang. Luang Prabang International Airport is 3.7 miles away.
The hostel is well located and within walking distance of major sites. It is close to a minimarket and a few restaurants. Beds are big, and breakfasts are included in the already very affordable price. The owner is very helpful and hilarious. When I came and was really starving, he offered to cook something for me. As I was worried about not being able to book a car ride to the airport, he eventually drove me there on his scooter. He is very chatty and willing to share his enriching living expériences.
Not recommend for first time solo travellers:) no lock and no safety for the room . The AC limited time is weird. But
Location is great .

GGeorge MuletThe front desk was very accommodating. They let me check in early and check out late. It’s a Chinese hotel and the front desk operator spoke Chinese. You can communicate with him via WhatsApp or a translator app.
The room was cozy and had what I needed. Water, shampoo, shower gel, dental kit and towels.
The front desk operator was even kind enough to take me to the airport on his motorbike after I checked out!
Very chill stay.
XXavierBREstablishment with functional and very nice wooden bungalows. They have everything you need. The family that runs it is very friendly. They have a bicycle to go to the center, since it is far from the town. Walking 15 minutes, but unlit area, on the same road. If you want a quiet place for a couple of days, perfect.
AAnonymous UserRich is just great! The night market starts right in front of the hotel.
Also, since it's hot during the day, I could go out in the morning, come back to the hotel in the afternoon to rest, go out again in the afternoon to drop off my shopping and other things, and then go out to the night market at night... it was very helpful for me.
There were many types of breakfast, and it was very luxurious and delicious. However, it took quite a while to be served, so please be careful if you are in a hurry.
The staff were fluent in English and very kind.
The room was stylish, but the air conditioning and outdoor unit in my room were very noisy and it interfered with my sleep, so if this could be improved, I would have no complaints.

GGuest UserIt's ok for solo traveler. The slow and limited wifi was never fixed as promised I realized that it was slow probably because the staff is obsessed with their phones, unsure if it's games or whatever. The owner said they've been open for 6 months, staff is young and polite but are inexperienced and focused on their phones even when dealing with my requests or questions. The thin pads on the bed platform is uncomfortable , walls are thin and music can go on pass 11pm.
Also Trip.com algorithm seems to keep changing pricing, the p4ice is different if I'm renewing vs launching a new search, irritating and annoying.

GGuest UserVery good, clean, belonging to the old money style, very chic, there is a large yard with a door downstairs, riding a motorcycle and driving in the yard is not worried, the boss has several stores, sometimes sometimes not, the front desk 24 hours someone will be Chinese, there is a night shift downstairs at night, very safe, Find the boss to rent a car and book a carpool to Kansai Waterfall and cruise, Chinese communication saves a lot of things!
OONEWORLD_DEVELOPERThe owner was very impressive.
He was very kind and very proactive in all my requests,
and I was satisfied with the very reasonable price.
The facilities are crude and the taste may vary depending on the nature of each country, but if you don't ask the owner, you will leave without feeling the warmth of the hotel...how nice of a person he is.
So if you don't feel distant due to language barriers and talk,
I think you will have a good trip.
RrosieecReally great concept for a short stay. The bathrooms are quite rustic but everything was comfortable and functional. Kind welcome and very well located
