Hot Springs Hotels in Hunan, China

I arrived at 9 AM to check in and was told the room wasn't ready yet as it hadn't been vacated or cleaned. However, thanks to the front desk supervisor's excellent coordination, my parents were able to check in early and settle in comfortably. I booked a super large double room, and it really was huge – you could almost call it a small ballroom! The room's facilities were clean and tidy. The rice noodles for breakfast were excellent, and the restaurant staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Before we left, the supervisor even thoughtfully arranged a high-speed rail drop-off service for us.

I absolutely have to give this guesthouse in Fenghuang Ancient City a glowing review! Two things stood out the most: First, the free shuttle service to and from the station was incredibly convenient and hassle-free. The driver contacted me in advance and had a great attitude – a huge bonus for tourists unfamiliar with the area. Second, the location is absolutely superb, right in the heart of the core district. It's walking distance to Tuojiang River, the Jumping Rocks, and the ancient city walls, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a Western Hunan style. The service was warm and attentive, making for a truly enjoyable trip. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

Traveling with five people, including seniors and children, we stayed at this hotel and were extremely satisfied! From the moment we got off the train, taxi drivers kept trying to recommend other hotels, claiming this one was too far and hard to get to. In reality, there's a small path directly from the hotel into the ancient town, which is incredibly convenient – much more so than those budget hotels or guesthouses. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful. The front desk attendant even gave the kids a small toy that he paid for himself. One evening, when we were all heading to the ancient town, it started raining, and the hotel manager even arranged a car to take us to Wubridge, even though I had only booked a basic room. The hotel's buffet dinner had unlimited fresh crayfish, and the lamb chops were delicious! The small pastries were also excellent! There were only a few tables dining at dinner, but they certainly didn't cut corners. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the train station in a business van, which was perfect for our group of five, otherwise we would have needed two taxis. It's a free service (remember to call ahead to book). The housekeeping auntie was also very kind and always smiling when she brought us things. The young staff clearing plates at the buffet were very diligent, and the tables were always spotless. All in all, for this price, service, and dining standard, this is definitely the number one choice in Fenghuang Ancient Town – unparalleled. I have to commend the hotel's shuttle service! After contacting the hotel, the shuttle arrived quickly. The two drivers were incredibly kind; not only did they drive smoothly, but they also proactively helped with luggage and were very polite upon arrival. I really loved the hotel's ambiance. The minimalist design was very pleasing to the eye, clean, and tidy. Staying in such a refreshing environment definitely lifts your spirits. A big shout-out to the front desk lady too! From check-in to check-out, her service attitude was super nice throughout, making me feel very welcome and warm. Initially, I didn't have high expectations for the hotel's food, but after trying it, the dishes were surprisingly delicious, just like home-cooked meals! Overall, it offers great value for money. This will definitely be my top choice from now on! 😊

Booked for two nights, and the service at this hotel was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and always greeted us when we returned. Changsha was so hot, but it was lovely to grab a cold drink from the fridge in the lobby after walking around. The bedding was super comfortable. It's just a few minutes' walk from Huangxing Square subway station, right in the middle of the pedestrian street, but it wasn't noisy at all. Traveling with elders and kids, it was really convenient to get to places nearby.

This designer hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, providing us with a wonderful retreat. It's ideal for guests who appreciate peace and nature. The staff were all very welcoming; the driver and the front desk team were fantastic. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely stay here again when I have free time.

Extremely satisfied! My train arrived quite early in the morning, so I messaged the concierge in advance to see if an early check-in was possible. Unfortunately, the room was occupied the night before, so I left my luggage with them first. As soon as the previous guests checked out, the concierge promptly arranged for cleaning. Not only did they allow me to check in early, but they also helped bring my luggage to the room. The service was incredibly thoughtful, patient, and warm. Definitely a big thumbs up!

Came here based on reviews and was not disappointed. The rooms are newly renovated and there are many hot spring pools. The hotel is very close to the scenic area; we bought tickets at Xiaotiantai to go to Wuzhifeng, and the scenery was beautiful. It's a bit of a shame we missed the rime.

The room was spacious enough and well-laid out, with a decor style I really liked. The amenities, like slippers, felt high-quality. Transfers were quick and efficient, and the front desk was very responsive. They even proactively contacted us to help book tickets, which was a huge relief. And the view from the window was truly beautiful! The only minor drawback was the limited breakfast selection, but that's understandable given the price. The stream outside the restaurant was stunning, with lots of little fish swimming around. Dehang Miao Village was the most beautiful place on our whole trip to Xiangxi, and it wasn't overly commercialized. The weather was perfect the day we visited. After taking the sightseeing bus to Liusha Waterfall, the hike along the stream was particularly memorable. The kids could play in the water, and it wasn't a strenuous walk at all – very enjoyable. During Chinese New Year, there were also various games and activities in the Miao Village that the kids loved. All in all, great hotel, amazing scenery, and fantastic weather – we'll definitely be back!
