Hot Springs Hotels in Xinjiang, China

The entire hotel staff felt so stiff that I tried not to ask for anything. If it was a hotel under one thousand, I wouldn't say anything. After all, it's a small city with a population of only more than ten thousand people and I can't ask for too much. But the hotel dared to set the price at more than two thousand, and there was nothing outstanding about either the hardware or the software. I can only say that it was very mediocre. Only the front desk lady at the hot spring and the female manager of the buffet restaurant on the second floor were quite nice, and they had the professional qualities of service industry practitioners. The scenery around the hotel is very ordinary, and the scenery from Sai Lake is also unremarkable. When I was taking a hot spring bath, the staff were live streaming and selling goods by the pool the whole time, which made my head hurt. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and spent more than two thousand to suffer.

My biggest worry about the high altitude was lack of oxygen, especially since it was my first time there. The room at Banlan had 24-hour oxygen supply, so I slept soundly until dawn without any problems. The room's details were even more surprising: a smart toilet, an air humidifier, and even face masks. As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I've stayed at this hotel more than anyone else. The bathroom glass door wasn't even wet. The most amazing thing was that the carpets in the public areas and corridors were vacuumed daily. The newly renovated hotel had no unpleasant odors. The front desk service was exceptional; they treated guests like family and were incredibly welcoming. They even gave me special advice on things to be aware of at high altitudes, as if they understood me perfectly. It's a truly perfect hotel, and I would easily recommend it to anyone.

The biggest surprise of this trip to Yili! I didn't expect that there is such a luxurious, comfortable and well-equipped hotel in the scenic area, which can be compared with the five-star hotels in the city. The room is large, well-planned, quiet and comfortable, and I slept until dawn. The breakfast is rich and delicious. Special praise for all the staff, warm and thoughtful, especially Zhang Yuze at the front desk, who also gave us food and fruits. Thank you very much, and I feel at home. The cleanliness was okay, but when staying in a hotel, the details of cleanliness are to see if there's hair from the previous guest on the floor, so you should pay attention to this. The environment is fine on the south side, but there's a central air conditioning unit on the north side, so those who are noise-sensitive should be aware. Service is subjective, and honestly, both the front desk and the guest rooms are average. One detail: the ”Do Not Disturb” button turns on, and when you press it, a red light turns on outside. It's not noticeable, but that's how it's designed. Sometimes, when I sleep in late and want to get up later, I'll specifically turn on the ”Do Not Disturb” light. Just after 10:00, the housekeeper knocked on the door and asked if I wanted to clean. I was speechless. I went out to ask the front desk if the housekeeper checked the ”Do Not Disturb” light on the door, and she said yes. I told her to pay attention. The best hotel service in Wensu should be Four Seasons, so they should learn from them. The amenities in the standard rooms are a bit high (I'm a man, 175 cm tall), making them uncomfortable to sit on. It's square, and the two front corners dig into my thighs when I sit down, which is a bit bad. I wonder if the owner didn't know to sit on them and experience it when they were decorating the model rooms? The high-end rooms have electric toilets. When you sit down, they flush first. Perhaps due to the high water pressure, there's a chance that water will splash onto your butt. But this hotel has a unique trick: its mousse mattress is incredibly comfortable. It's no exaggeration to say it surpasses 99% of hotels, even five-star hotels. When staying in a hotel, the most important thing is comfort. For this mattress alone, I can tolerate all the other shortcomings. So, I stayed at this hotel for over 20 days. Then, after repeated price adjustments, I felt it wasn't worth the money, so I moved. I have to give a bad review for breakfast. I'd rather go out and eat steamed buns at a breakfast shop, or even go hungry if I'm too lazy. I wouldn't even bother with the hotel breakfast. It looks sumptuous, but there's actually not much that goes well with rice. The hot dishes early in the morning were stir-fried sausage with chili peppers, mapo tofu, and fried eggplant with green beans (which was super oily). They were completely lunch-like, and the taste was truly average. I couldn't eat them. I complained to the front desk twice, asking for a lighter breakfast, but I don't know if this has been improved (I stayed here from mid-July to early August 2025). Alas, when running a hotel, the owner and staff should act like customers and experience the experience to see where things are going wrong. I bet they didn't do that, but if they were willing to improve, this hotel would undoubtedly be the best in Wensu. Another small detail: the air conditioning vents have louvers that fold downward, so the cold air is directed towards the floor and bed, which isn't very friendly.

I stayed at the Wyndham Garden Airport Hotel on a business trip this time, and the overall experience was fantastic! Upon entering the hotel, the staff greeted me warmly, helped with my luggage, and quickly checked me in, instantly relaxing my tired body and soul. The room was cozy and the bedding was soft and comfortable. All my fatigue melted away the moment I lay down, and the fragrance was truly wonderful! I loved it! The hotel is in a great location, right near the airport, and offers free airport transfers, which is a real plus for someone like me who's rushing to catch a flight. Furthermore, there are numerous snack bars and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to get groceries and eat. The breakfast was delicious and varied, catering to every taste. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling; you can't go wrong!

My self-driving journey to the winter wonderland of Narat left a wonderful impression. The guesthouse was right by the river, offering excellent views of the snow-capped mountains and expansive vistas. The spacious parking lot made parking a breeze, perfect for drivers. I arrived just in time for a heavy snowfall, and the grasslands and valleys were blanketed in white. Opening the window revealed a breathtaking panorama of ”thousands of miles of ice and snow,” a truly magnificent sight. Walking along the riverbank in the snow, the crunch of snow underfoot and the rising steam from the nearby stream felt like stepping into a fairytale. Even more amazing was the night sky. Free from urban light pollution, the Milky Way stretched across the sky, clearly visible to the naked eye. Sitting on the terrace wrapped in a blanket, gazing at the stars with the silhouettes of distant snow-capped mountains instantly soothed all my fatigue. I also want to thank the owner for the thoughtful afternoon tea and hot drinks; the service was impeccable. The room was warm and comfortable, and they even shared some less-traveled winter driving spots. This snowy, starry night trip was definitely one of the most unforgettable self-driving experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend it!

There are also many exquisite little things on the shelves in the lobby of the hotel, which makes people feel pleasing to the eye. The room is also relatively warm, with intelligent equipment, and it is relatively fashionable, and looks like a newly opened store. The parking lot under the hotel is quite large. I asked the front desk whether there is an underground parking lot. If you come here in winter, it is a good choice

The hotel is indeed close to Tianshan Tianchi, which is a plus. There are also the following problems. The facilities are a bit old and need to be renovated. The hot spring water quality is not good, it is very dirty, and the bath towels are hung everywhere. The hotel breakfast does not match the hotel grade. The only thing that tastes good is boiled ramen. The most important thing is the service. It can be said that the hotel basically has no service. Maybe it is too busy and the service staff are a little emotional, or maybe it is the only hot spring hotel in the surrounding area, but every customer is innocent, and there will always be competitors. I hope the hotel management will pay attention to this issue.
