The hotel staff provided excellent service, even offering a hand-drawn map for reference. The location is incredibly convenient; whether you're coming from Gotemba Premium Outlets or taking a bus to Tokyo, you can board right at the hotel entrance.
We were lucky enough to have a view of Mount Fuji from our room, which my friends absolutely loved for taking photos.
The front desk staff spoke good English, so communication was seamless.
The 150 JPY per person hot spring bath was an amazing value! On a weekday evening, it wasn't crowded at all, and it even had an outdoor bath. I imagine it would be absolutely beautiful if it were snowing.
The hotel is located on top of a hill overlooking Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. The views from the rooms and onsite onsens all have a view of Mount Fuji. It's honestly unbeatable.
・I think it would be better if they were a little more welcoming and didn't get hung up on appearances.
・The hot water kettle has a Japanese setting, so a foreign tourist who was having trouble using it spoke to me in English and explained how to use it.
・The parking lot should be made a little easier to understand and use.
・I'm glad that my family liked the Japanese-style room, and my child said, ”I want to go to the shrine room again.”
Our stay was fantastic! The hotel's shuttle bus made getting around super convenient, and the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and had excellent service attitudes. The room was spotless, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The biggest surprise was being able to see Mount Fuji directly from our room's balcony – the view was absolutely stunning and breathtaking. Breakfast offered a great variety too. The hotel's overall environment was very peaceful, making for a truly relaxing stay. We'd definitely consider coming back here again!
The hotel offers a shuttle service, with pick-ups in the afternoon and drop-offs until around 10 PM. They also provide transportation to Oishi Park; just contact the front desk in advance. This time, I booked a Japanese family room, which was quite spacious with a separate wet and dry area. The beds were already made when I entered. From the room, I could see Mount Fuji in the distance – it was absolutely beautiful to wake up and do my makeup at the table while admiring the view. Both breakfast and dinner were set menus, which was nice. The hotel service was excellent, and there was a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so language was not an issue at all.
Excellent value for money! You can see Mount Fuji directly from the room just by opening the curtains. The restaurant is a bit mediocre; it tends to get chaotic because they cater to many tour groups. The nearest Japanese restaurant closes early, so you'll have to go near Kawaguchiko Station for dinner.
Was pleasantly surprised that there was van pick up service to bring us up to the hotel from the main road ! This needs to be shared in case anyone avoid booking due to location. The team (driver , recep) all were very friendly and helpful, thank you for the service
The hotel is clean and has a free hot spring onsen. The hotel is quite far from the station, but it’s worth it because Mount Fuji is right behind it—huge and absolutely beautiful 😭. It’s also close to a large Daiso. Very satisfying / I’m very satisfied.♥️♥️♥️
The room was very spacious, with both a regular bed and a tatami mat available. The view was absolutely amazing, with Mount Fuji clearly visible! We could even enjoy a private onsen bath right in our room. However, this also made the room quite humid, leading to a noticeable musty or damp wood smell. It was essential to air out the room by opening the windows or running the AC daily. We were able to reserve a private dining room, which also offered views of Mount Fuji. One last thing, laundry service costs extra.
The view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel was absolutely stunning and became one of the highlights of my trip. Location was also vy convenient, bus interchange and train station were just nearby, easy to travel around Fuji area. Perfect stay for both comfort and accessibility.

GGuest UserThis onsen hotel by Lake Kawaguchiko offers stunning views of Mount Fuji from the room. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the train station in the morning, which is convenient as it's a bit of a walk. For the best photo opportunities of Mount Fuji, head a short distance to the right of the hotel.
GGuest UserHow to put it? Among all the hot spring hotels I've stayed at, this one is pretty average. Perhaps because it's located in a tourist spot, there are many visitors from various countries. The highlight was the freshly cooked individual rice portions for dinner. The hot springs were a bit underwhelming, and I could sense the hotel management's struggles.
WwxzlooHonestly, my overall experience at the hotel was fantastic, completely different from some of the reviews I read. Since I was traveling with a child, I couldn't book a room with a private hot spring. Perhaps everyone's rooms have their own tubs, or maybe it was just good timing, but the public bath felt like my own private oasis – I had it all to myself!
I opted for the 'one night, two meals' plan. Both breakfast and dinner were incredibly rich in variety and quality. They even served eel for both adults and children, and the food was truly delicious; we all enjoyed it immensely. The afternoon tea snacks were also excellent.
I can't speak for other dates, but at least during our stay, it was an absolutely perfect place for a vacation. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
GGuest UserEveryone we encountered was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The warmth and hospitality created such a peaceful and comforting atmosphere throughout our visit. It was a truly serene and beautiful experience that left us feeling refreshed and grateful.
SS. MeFirst time stay . Thought it come with the private outdoor bath but realize the official website and 3rd party booking us different ,so slightly get disappointed.
Overall stay is good with shuttle bus to pick up during arrival and checkout but do take note upon requesting it booking only. The lobby will have snacks and welcome drink which allow u free to take.
Room is spacious and clean. The dinner was great who prefer simple and varieties japanese food. The location so far is good is about 15-20min walking distance to kawaguchiko station
AAnonymous UserExtremely satisfied with this hotel, it exceeded my expectations!
**Facilities:** I saw some guests mention the hotel being old, but actually, the facilities are excellent. Besides the distinctive tatami rooms and rooms facing Mount Fuji, there's also the hotel's special hot spring. The outdoor bath has such a great vibe, and it's real hot spring water – my skin felt so smooth afterwards.
**Environment:** There are absolutely no issues with the hotel's environment, cleanliness, or rooms; it meets a four-star-plus standard. You can see a full view of Mount Fuji within a 3-minute walk from the hotel, with both sunrise and sunset clearly visible.
**Dining:** The hotel's breakfast isn't particularly varied; I wouldn't recommend paying extra for it. Dinner, however, is highly recommended. It offers a good variety of Japanese specialties, and many people think it's much better than eating out. Some reviews recommend the Wheat restaurant in the hotel courtyard or the restaurant across the street, but the cost-effectiveness might not live up to expectations, and the actual standard could be quite different.
**Service:** I didn't give five stars for service. The hotel's front desk offers Chinese service, and the Chinese staff are especially friendly and helpful, answering all our questions with no communication barriers. However, I was very dissatisfied with the restaurant staff, who I believe were Indian. Breakfast ends at 9:30 AM, and we thought we just needed to have our food by 9:30 AM and wouldn't get more. Instead, the server rudely told us to ”Go Out!” in an impolite manner while we were still eating our paid breakfast. These four stars are solely for the excellent front desk service.
**Additional Notes:** If you have high standards for a hotel, want a hot spring experience, and wish to be close to Mount Fuji, this is an excellent choice. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Fuji-Q Highland and a few minutes from Kawaguchiko Bus Terminal, which is very convenient for returning to Tokyo or other places. The front desk service is fantastic; a big thank you to the Chinese lady at the front desk.
