Meet the penguins at Sydney Sea Life Aquarium!

After the fun and joy of the penguins, you can experience a bit of thrill when you visit Shark Valley, another fantastic exhibit you can see with Sea Life Sydney tickets.

Transparent walkways actually take you under the aquarium, where some of the ocean’s most dangerous predators swim close above your head.

The fearsome Grey Nurse Shark, the other-worldly Wobbegong Shark, the sleek and slim Smooth Ray, and the delightful Black Cod will truly make your jaw drop. It’s an exhilarating feeling so close to these monsters of the deep, as if you’re swimming with them.

Then for a little mystery. Do you know what a dugong is? This lesser-known aquatic beauty can be found with your Sea Life Sydney tickets, at the appropriately-named Dugong Island.

The dugong is one of the ocean’s true unique specimens. It is said they were once mistaken for mermaids by the first European sailors who arrived on Australia’s shores. And if you squint your eyes, you might just be able to imagine why!

The dugong is a cousin of the manatee, and the only living example of a herbivorous marine mammal. Once hunted for their oil and meat, they are an endangered species. Make sure you take the chance to visit Pig the Dugong with your Sea Life Sydney tickets – it’s an experience you won’t regret. It’s not every day you get the chance to meet a mermaid!

Of course, it’s nice that the sharks are kept behind the glass. But don’t you want the chance to get even closer to some of the ocean’s more innocuous animals?

That’s why you’ll have a great time in the Discover Rockpool, another exhibit you can access with Sea Life Sydney tickets. Pencil Sea Urchins, the reclusive Hermit Crabs, iconic Sea Stars, and the enigmatic Waratah Anemone are just some of the creatures you’ll be able to get your hands on in the touch pool.

This is a great experience for children and adults alike – everyone can really learn a lot from the highly knowledgeable, super helpful, and extra friendly Sea Life Sydney staff.

A trip to the aquarium with Sea Life Sydney tickets will inspire your curiousity and imagination. What better way to finish a trip, then, than a step back in time to where it all began – to the Jurassic Seas.

With dinosaurs all the rage in our cinemas, we all know the terror and majesty of the reptiles that once roamed the land. With this exhibit, the aquarium will also show you what was going on under the water!

There’s a chance to learn all about evolution – where the species we see before us today came from, which other species they are related to, and how much they have changed over time. You also find out about some very curious examples of evolution – the octopus, the lungfish, and the delightfully-named hagfish.

There are so many different exhibits, interactive zones, and wonderful species to see with Sea Life Sydney tickets, it’s a trip that will satisfy even the fussiest of travellers. It’s perfect for a full morning or afternoon of fun.
