Kameo, Antiparos

My wife, daughter,and I had a lovely visit to this secluded beach from getaway this past August. I don’t normally write reviews but in the case Ornit the owner and her family and staff were so welcoming and capable that I broke my own rule. If you want to experience a quiet, home-like side of the Greek Islands, you cannot go wrong here.

Kameo is truly a gift to the island of Antiparos. Its authenticity, peaceful yet sociable character as well as the vibrant personalities of the staff wonderfully blended together with those of its guests are all unique traits! The small, beach community of Agios Georgios lies in a spectacular bay at the southwest corner of the island and is a gem with great symbolic significance for Greece both for our country's ancient heritage and proximity to the archaeological neighbouring island of Despotiko but also for the bravery of the local people in WW2 resistance against the axis forces. Kameo is beautiful, its common areas, the rooms, terraces, flowers, sounds and smells. Above all our Kameo are the people, the girls at housekeeping with their kindness and professionalism, Niko and Oresti for making us feel right at home and last but not least Ornit...One cannot write enough about this truly inspirational woman whose drive, humanity, truth, inclusiveness, passion, search for inner peace and appreciation of life, generosity and philoxenia are gifts to everyone who have a chance to meet and spend time with her. There are not enough words to describe how perfect this place is! From our first welcome to when we left, we felt like family. The property is so beautiful and the location cannot be beat. You can just walk across the drive and there's the beach! And if you want to mix it up and go to a different beach, you're a short walk away from the best beach on Antiparos (Ag. Georgios) and a couple of great tavernas. The rooms are giant and perfectly appointed and the food is truly some of the best I've ever had in my life (especially the shakshouka in the mornings). It was a complete five-star experience. There's a certain magic about Antiparos and Kameo embodies it so well. We can't wait to come back!

Beat vacation ever! It was relaxing, staff were amazing, I ate only in the hotel where Nikos and Orestis made me the best tailor made meals, spent my mornings and afternoons on the beach right in front and enjoyed beautiful company from the owner, staff and great guests. I was hardly alone. I liked the vibe, the energy of the place that was magical and I will for sure go back. Thank you KAMEO for a beautiful and unforgettable time!

KAMEO was our home for one week. Absolutely amazing! The room was very comfortable and quiet as well as the living area decorated with good taste and cozy a**osphere, perfect to relax, eat and have a drink enjoying the spectacular views of the beautiful Greek sea. Beach is walking distance from the hotel. Ornit, the owner, a very interesting and nice woman, and Nico and Orestis, the friendly staff, did the rest with their warmest attendance to our needs making our stay an unforgettable experience. Just perfect! Highly recommend KAMEO and hope to come back soon bringing friends and family too. Can’t wait!

Antiparos was a great discovery, a hidden gam really, but KAMEO was the the highlight of the trip. After travelling the Cycladic islands for three weeks (Mykonos, Milos, Naxos &Paros) we finally arrived to Antiparos and discovered THE KAMEO and it was absolutely stunning. the hotel is located perfect in the south part of the Island, we took a car and practically didn't use it. We just chilled in the bar and in our balcony, met amazing people and enjoyed the wonderful vibe of the host and team. It was really the best experience the rooms are perfect the service was personal and beyond expectation. we are defiantly coming back!

Best summer vacation we had! KAMEO is located in the perfect spot, right across the Despotiko temple of Apollo. Nature is surrounding you everywhere but when you go to your room it feels as if you go home. Beatiful, welcoming, luxurious but in a friendly way. Definitely a must in the Cyclades !!! Thanks to the amazing host and friendly team for an unforgettable memories. Looking forward to come back!

This place is a dream! The best view on despotiko, rooms spacious and super clean with everything you need. Fresh ingredients for your Breakfast and wonderful drinks for the evening. The jewel of this place is also Ornit, you can ask her advice on anything around the island and she will be able to help you. It s a pleasure to spend time with her under the patio of this beautiful place. You have a nice little beach walking distance and lovely tavernas all around. The entire team is very efficient and ready to help. A place not to miss ..!!!!

We enjoyed discovering the lovely Kameo hotel, which can be best described as the perfect hideaway in the Greek islands. Ornit, the big hearted and your instantly best friend host, designed, and created a place to relax, let go, and fully immerse in the quite bliss of a Greek holiday. Located on the Anti Paros island (a short ferry trip from the larger Paros), this hotel offers a combination of a quite luxury, amazing hospitality and an instant feeling of being at ease and at home. Whether having a a relaxed breakfast in the shade, or taking the time on the inviting beach just outside the hotel, strolling the small streets of the village nearby, or lying on the sandy beach under the full moon, you can relax, unwind and enjoy the weather, location, food and most importantly, the open hearted and warm a**osphere of unimposing hospitality.
