I checkin at 12/5. Even this club bentota was not provided intercommunication phone. Wifi etc.. my room no is 145 at morning i request the room service to bring milk powder and sugar. I waiting for 1hour in lobby but they didnt provid. If i ask lobby staff they aak me to wait. Is this level the room service behavior with clients? ?

I had an excellent time at Bentota Club. The staff were polite and attentive all the time. Bentota Club is located in very beautiful place; there are a lot of trees, birds and cute squirrels. I also enjoyed my breakfasts and dinners there - they served European cuisine as well as Shri Lanka cuisine. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

I was skeptical about the hotel after reading so many negative reviews. However Robinson Club was a place I used to pass by for so many years and for some reason found the name fasicnating. After I saw it got rebranded wanted to visit such a long standing place. So our experience was not bad. The positives: - The hotel opens out to the best part of the bentota beach which is really wide and nearly private. Other hotels might kill for this fascinating location. - Cheaper than than most of the other 3 star properties - Lovely old wooden architechture - Room was good in general - Good car park on the Gall Road side - All amenties worked - The spread and food was good (but bit too salty for my personal liking) - Russian Friendly resort The negatives: - The hotel was supposed to have gon through a refurburshment but see no signs of any serious work done. Perhaps they just fixed the brocken stuff - No intercom (heard there is a bell to alert the reception) - Room is big enough but the floor is always moist (strange) - The bathroom is really small.. if you are tall big built person you are not going to fit in comfortablly - Buns not good - Only hotel I have seen where water is not served to the table! :) - WIFI only in the reception - No Gym but you can take good walks on the beach stretch

Club Bentota is a great place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy, such as swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and windsurfing. Here are some of the things I liked most about Club Bentota: The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had a great stay. The food was delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They were also spacious and had a great view of the ocean. The location was perfect. The hotel was right on the beach, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. There were plenty of activities to keep me busy. I went swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and windsurfing. I also had a chance to go on a few excursions, including a visit to a nearby elephant orphanage.

A**ospheric & authentic hotel located in very special location between river and ocean. Forever in my heart♥️ There is very special Buddhist temple located not far away from hotel - in place where the river flows into the ocean. Hotel is not crowded with people. Paradise for people who want to have quite vacation. Friendly and VERY helpful staff. The cosiest and a**ospheric hotel on Bentota Beach (we've seen others walking along the beach)

The rooms are terrible. When we arrived the first room we were assigned was dirty, there was mold all over the ceiling and in the bathroom the ceiling was dripping wet, the sheets had stains and the pillows too. There were no towels and A/C was broken so the room was very cold and we couldn't do anything about, also the room was all wet because of the moisture and very smelly. We asked for a new room and got one. However it was no better than the first one, the sheets were dirty and there were no towels. At least the bathroom was clean and the A/C worked properly. We asked for towels and we were brought some which were also dirty and had holes in them. We had a talk with the working staff on the reception and they told us that it is the chief manager we had to talk to but he wasnt at the hotel and would not come soon.Overall experience from the rooms was very bad. There were some good things too: The whole area is very beautiful. You get on a boat from the mainland and then it takes you to the hotel which is located on an island. The a**osphere is beautiful, relaxing, you are close to the ocean on one side and on the other to the river. It is a wonderful place for a family trip or trip with friends. Food was actually very good you had a bit variety of things you could choose from and it was delicious.

The property is really peaceful. Rooms are very big. They have all the amenities under one roof. You can get a fabulous experience with their private beach. We have visited here for a couple holidays trip. Highly recommended stay.

You truly made our special day more special with the specially decorated table arrangement. The Delicious decorated anniversary cake was provided by the Executive chef Mr. Priya Perera. We are struggling to find words to describe our gratitude to both of you for such an arrangement. Thanks a lot. Further, we would like to mention the Great service, hardworking staff, and amazing hospitality by the Restaurant Manager Mr. Chaminda. The Food and services are awesome and highly recommended. The night was lit with a DJ. It was totally worth it and super cool... We loved it... Thanks, Team Club Bentota. We would like to recommend this hotel for all who not only stay on vacation but also who want to arrange special celebrations too.
