Unfortunately the quality does not match the price. Old hotel with outdated facilities in need of renovation. The elevator was not working for 1 whole day so we had to carry all the things to the room (fortunately an employee offered to help us). The pool was full of sand with dirty sunbeds, the breakfast relatively poor and everything that ran out was not replenished. Parking after 11 is hard to find. In the room the a/c very noisy to the extent that you could not sleep. Clean room, very nice view, some staff members very helpful and polite. For its price overall not worth it, it should be 2 times cheaper or renovated.

Mare Vista needs a major upgrade. The pool area has leaking pipes, stained concrete, broken umbrellas, dead plants and soiled lounges. Bathrooms and kitchens need renovating. On the plus side, staff were wonderful, local beaches are in walking distance and the view of Batsi from our balcony was beautiful. This property has enormous potential but the owners need to invest some serious money. In summary: Staff 10, Location 10, View 10, Premises 3, Owners zero.

Just stayed for 4 days at this hotel. The hotel is in desperate need of updating as a lot of the fittings in our room were shoddy. The breakfast was a poor option very little choice of fresh fruit to go with the yogurt if there were any bowls available to put it in. It’s a real shame about this accommodation as Batsi is a beautiful resort with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Great hotel, great value, excellent breakfast, and the friendliest, most helpful staff. The view from our balcony was exceptional. This facility has many stairs - between levels, and to get into the facility itself. Our room was very clean, well-appopinted and all one would need for a visit to Andros.

Despite the external appearance of a seventies prison block; internally the hotel was not bad at all. The rooms were cleaned every day but bizarrely not our last night. Towels and sheets were regularly changed and it was nice not to have to pay for the safe or very good air conditioning. Coffee was not replenished so may be worth buying your own. The pool area was a little disappointing but the Kolona Beach about 250m away is perfect. The staff are really friendly and by far the biggest selling point were the excellent breakfasts. The pastries, cakes and breads were very good indeed and much appreciated. We did not pay too much at all for the accommodation and with the stunning views , walks on offer , excellent local restaurants we would recommend this hotel as long as you can walk well and cope with lots of steps.

We had a beautiful and peaceful at this charming resort! It is clean and very comfortable for the whole family. Staff was warm, helpful and friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay! The location and views are amazing. We hope to return soon!

Amazing location! The room was clean and spacious the housekeepers more than enough their smile! The view was amazing. Most important,the staff! Sophia was the heart of our vacation, we loved the island and definitely we will be back for more! Thank you all for our vacation !

An beautiful and welcoming hotel with an amazing view of the town of Batsi. Incredibly friendly staff, especially Sophia who opened her arms to us and gave us a memorable time by giving the best of tips of what to do and what to see. Saw some of the nicest views and went to the prettiest beaches thanks to her! She also helped with absolutely everything we needed. Really recommend this hotel.

I don’t understand the reviewer who complained about housekeeping! Beds and towels are changed every day and the rooms are cleaned. Immaculate. Stunning views, comfortable beds, air con, great location. Another wonderful stay in a lovely hotel.
