Unfortunately, housekeeping had overlooked some long black hairs in the bathroom. After a quick consultation with reception, we were offered another room. But we gave housekeeping another chance... You can see that the room is at least slightly in need of renovation. The carpet had a few large stains, and the furniture also had a few blemishes. Other than that, the young ladies at reception were nice and the location is quiet too

We didn't miss the lack of an elevator - according to four-star standards - for a second. On the contrary, the lack of one fits in with the building and it's stylish to climb the steep stairs. The breakfast is excellent. The beds are wonderful. The missing point is only due to small things that were annoying for us: the tripping step in front of the toilet is something you have to remember at night. The unlabeled cheap phone can be thrown away. "No nightstand§...little things.

We were guests in Schärding in May and spent two nights at the Hotel Forstinger in the town centre. The hotel made a nice impression on the website and looked promising, so we booked it. The first impression on site was also great, the lady at reception was very friendly and the lobby was nice and modern. Our room was on the first floor and looked nice but had a few shortcomings. Firstly, the room had no air conditioning and it was quite warm in the room. There was only one window for ventilation and hardly any cold air came in because there was no draft. Then there was no black-out curtain, so the room was very bright at night and in the morning. I thought the bathroom was terrible, it had nothing to do with being modern and didn't match the room at all. It was also just a tiny box, so if you stay longer you can't possibly spread out your luggage there. Overall we found the service very friendly and nice and that was really the positive thing about our stay. The breakfast was OK but I had definitely expected something better. The selection at the buffet was small and looked pretty poor in places. The restaurant was also very small, so it would make sense to serve breakfast à la carte and that would be more sustainable. I think the organic idea is great, but I find it questionable why no local fruit is offered apart from exotic fruit.

TOP location. I was in the annex and not the main building. The room itself was really more than big enough. The toilet and bathroom were separate, but a new standard would have been more than desirable. The fittings and tiles were old and not up to date. Unfortunately there was no USB port. And the light switches were not ideally positioned either. You had to stretch very far from the bed to even reach the light. But it was very clean and quiet. The breakfast room in the main building is very modern. In addition to the offer included in the price, there is also a menu with a lot of additional options such as avocado toast.

Moin Folks, nun wenn jemand eine Reise unternimmt….., kann meist einiges berichten und ich war „on the road „und tanke, suchte im Netz nach einer Übernachtungsmöglichkeit und wurde flott bei Booking fündig. Zahllose gute Bewertungen und flott gebucht, Zack folgte die Bestätigung und einige Minuten später stand ich vor der Tür, cooles Lichtergeschmeide, schon a bissl weihnachtlich. Geparkt, hinein und Moin habe ein Zimmer reserviert, Perso, Kreditkarte und flott war alles erledigt. Fahrzeug, ca. 200 Meter Abwärts eine Garage, ab und hin, Zimmer, alles sehr geilogalaktisch, bin schwer beeindruckt und werde es sehr empfehlen und ab und an hier einkehren.

Wunderschönes Hotel im Zentrum, sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit romantischer Dachterrasse. Das Frühstück ist spitzenmäßig mit Topservice, so wie im ganzen Hotel. Wir hatten die Gourmetreise und können sie nur empfehlen!
