My family and I returned to this hotel after visiting last July . I emailed the hotel prior to arrival with a couple of requests which were granted Checked in swiftly and handed a glass of cava which was welcoming We were all inclusive which I felt was the best option as the quality of food excellent ! Certain meals / drinks were not on the all inclusive deal however I must stress not many Added bonus this year were the introduction of comfy sunbeds We were in a deluxe room but I think all rooms are spacious As part of the all inclusive package you have a well stocked fridge of juice / water / olives / beer / chocolate to name a few items Staff excellent!! Was nice to meet the hotel director on our departure . Must mention Carlos x2 ( rooftop bar ) Marc ( chef ) .. hope graduation went well ,Mercie , Ivan , Barbara and Donna . Roof top bar B heaven was a nice place to relax before a meal and to sit after the meal Will definitely return !

From the moment we checked into Barcelo Nura Spa Hotel, the attention to detail was faultless. Greeted with a glass of cava whilst checking in, José the helpful concierge taking our luggage to our room. When we realised the sun wouldn’t be on our private terrace and plunge pool all day, reception were excellent in changing our room to one where we would have the sun all day, at an additional cost but worth it. The rooms really are lovely, especially outside with it’s fantastic terrace with decked sunbathing area, with direct access to a plunge pool shared with the room next door. It was a great start to our holiday at this stunning, relaxing spa hotel. The staff are extremely hard working, especially the restaurant (Karen and Ion to name two) and bar staff Carlos and Carlos were excellent. Paul the breakfast chef always greeted us with a smile and chat. Dominik the hotel manger is a super, friendly guy, who we chatted to often. The buffet breakfast had everything you could want and was excellent. As was the selection and quality of food served in the evenings. Now for the ******* • A hen party of 18 cackling girls arrived on our 3rd day there and decided they were going to sunbathe right opposite our decked terrace. Gone was the serene peace and quiet. Luckily they were only there 3 days! Large group bookings like this are always going to disrupt other guests and be annoying. • Our plunge pool wasn’t sectioned off like the other plunge pools in our row, so other guests were coming into our pool area (to swim and play ball) that we’d paid a premium for. This was annoying. It’s should be sectioned off, so it’s only for rooms 207/208. • A party of approximately 50 guests, I think a company booking, arrived to ruin the peaceful, relaxing spa hotel vibe. Some other guests were telling us, over drinks on the rooftop bar, how a large group of rowdy guests had taken over the pool area by their room and that they couldn’t wait to go home on the Thursday. By 5pm Thursday after they were very rowdy by the pool, drinking in the pool, disturbing guests trying to relax! Then they totally ruined our last night on the Thursday, when they were allocated over 60% of the rooftop bar terrace for their private function, leaving a small section for the remaining hotel guests to sit. The hotel entertainment was a guitarist but we could hardly hear him due to the amount of noise coming from the private function. Other hotel guests were coming up to the bar for drinks but whether it was because there wasn’t enough chairs, or the sheer noise or both, they immediately turned around and left. Others who would normally stay drinking until midnight, were leaving at 9/9:30pm, most likely because of the noise the private function were making! Then some of the guests at the private function decided to come over and take chairs from the section kept for the other hotel guests and take them over to the private function area! So if any other hotel guests had decided to come

Can't really fault Barcelo Nura. The place was stylish and oh so relaxing - from the communal areas with gorgeous pools to the bedrooms with comfy beds, and the best shower in the world. The food was delicious and plentiful. There was so much choice for every meal. We're glad we took the half board option as local restaurants are a 15-20 minute walk. The sea is very close to Barcelo Nura but no sandy beaches which wasn't a problem for us as the pools on site were great. Lovely small towns in both directions which were easy to reach by foot and the bus to Mahon was easy to navigate, cheap, and didn't take long to get to the city. The hotel staff, and the Menorcans were so very welcoming. We would go back to Barcelo Nura, and Menorca in a heartbeat.

My wife and I stayed here last week (10 day stay) and we are a couple approaching our 80''s with walking difficulties.....which has a relevance. The Hotel sits in splendid isolation...which means there are no restaurants/bars or shops nearby...So you eat in the Hotel or spend a lot of money, time and effort eating elsewhere...We upgraded from Bed and Breakfast to Half Board as a result. This now leads me onto the food... The salads and desserts are good enough...but the Main Course choices are poor in our opinion....and this needs looking at...For such a lovely hotel it was extremely disappointing. Now for the good bit... The Hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean...set in lovely unique grounds ...The stone walls and pools are delightful ...Really well designed. The staff are excellent...Room cleaning was top notch...Thank you maids...And the dining room and Bar staff worked extremely hard and were always a delight to talk to...A big thank you to...Sonia...Karen...Barbara...Merce ...and Ruben...and Carlos. A BIG shout out, also, to Day Manger Will and the reception team...who, on the day we arrived, took our concerns about our room location on board...and with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency...relocated us to near Reception and the Dining Room and Cafe....HUGE thanks guys. Finally...Some suggestions for Management... 1) Install Defibrillator (s ) ....You might save a life one day. 2) Install equipment in dining room to heat plates...Luke warm food and cold plates don't mix. So wanted to give 5 stars...but opening paragraphs explain why not.

We went to Barcelo Nura in mid May ‘24. The front line staff were awesome so many thanks to Ruben, Anna, Ivan, Barbara, Karen, Merce, Eva and the ‘younger’ Carlos! However, the hotel and its management are a different story. The buffet restaurant was ok but the second al a carte restaurant doesn’t open till the end of May. The downstairs bar was ok (though the entertainment was pretty bad) but the rooftop bar with lovely views of the sea doesn’t open till the end of May. The signposts in the hotel were unclear so you have to find your own way around, further no local information was on clear display as the hotel is quite isolated. When it comes to the bedrooms, there is absolutely no privacy due to the glass toilet doors which do not close completely, the lighting is bad as you can’t leave a light on for the toilet without lighting up half the bedroom and, unless you want to watch the BBC World News, don’t bother with the TV. The pools are freezing and there was no visible place to change the pool towels, even the cushions for the sunbeds didn’t turn up until our last day. Finally, if you go All Inclusive, be careful. You can’t check in till 3pm on your first day but on your last day, it stops at Noon so you would have to pay for anything you consume after. We won’t be going back as this hotel is not for us. It seemed unprepared for full paying guests in May so have no idea what it will be like at full capacity!

Great place to spend a few days as we explored the beautiful island.. Relaxed and chilled vibe created by the friendly team. Huge room and terrace with double daybed overlooking the pools and sea.
