Lassi Hotel

An excellent hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, fresh and cleaned daily. Breakfast is very good with bacon, eggs (various), selection of cold meats, yoghurt, fruit juice, cereals etc. Pool is large and very clean with plenty of sun beds. NB If you are allergic to cats or ""catphobic" perhaps not the hotel for you. The owner has a number of cats which are friendly and wander around the public area!

Just returned from our 10 night stay in this Hotel. We upgraded to a sea view room prior to arrival, (€20 per night) on the top floor. (Room 301). Spacious room, gorgeous views of the bay, lovely shower & comfy bed. Yes, you pay for the safe & air con, but so worth it. Hotel is located down a lane off the main *****, very quiet, no night disturbance and very relaxing. Lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers. Staff at the Hotel are so friendly & work tirelessly ensuring a smile or hello at every opportunity. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels, etc. Yes, there are several cats in the Hotel, but they are all lovely. Location is excellent for exploring the island and for visiting the restaraunts and the few cocktail bars on the *****. Will definately return.

Lovely simple hotel in Lassi. Amazing breakfast and friendly staff. Clean room with comfortable beds and a fantastic shower! Great views over the sea from the hotel bar, good location for beaches and for exploring the island. Would return without hesitation.

Just came back from a week at this Hotel, and have mixed feelings. Some good points, lovely staff, lovely pool area, nice modern bathroom. Lovely views from the balcony. They also gave my hubby a bottle of red wine as it was a special birthday during our visit, which was really appreciated. The bar area and lounge were also fine, though some background music would have been nice. Points that weren’t so good, beds were hard and uncomfortable as were the pillows. There are some hidden extra’s you needed to pay for if you wanted more facilities. 15€ per week for use of a fridge, also additional to pay for safety deposit box and Air Con, don’t know price as didn’t use them. The balcony was very small, just enough space for a small table and 2 chairs. Breakfast was just ok, plenty of choice but a bit chaotic at times , not sure how they would cope in peak season. For those that are less mobile, it’s a bit of a hike to the main stretch of Lassi, some quite steep roads. All in all a preset average experience.

Firstly the staff at this hotel are amazing. Friendly, helpful and really hard working. The hotel is mostly clean and well cared for. We did think the outside areas could have had more attention. Pool was dirty around the edges, dead plants, cut branches just left . There is no snack bar as such. You can get drinks at the hotel bar and a very limited choice of toasted sandwich but that’s it. There is no atmosphere in the hotel bar/terrace. Even quiet music would make such a difference. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice and food is always fresh and replenished. Our room was fine. Towels and sheets changed every other day. Only issues were a dirty shower curtain and the balcony was tiny with no sun. Overall we enjoyed our stay but we wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

The Hotel was first class. Everyone who worked in the hotel were very friendly . Everything in the hotel was spotless. We had a couple of very very small issues in our room but were fixed when we returned after a day out. The breakfast was very good and was nice to sit outside in the morning to eat it. It was about a ten minute walk to the ***** with all the restaurants on. When to a different restaurant every night and never had a bad meal. We went with our friends and we all said we definitely would stay there again. Garry and Janice Craske.

Spent a week at the Lassi Hotel Kefalonia, situated just at the end of the ***** in Kefalonia, beautifully located overlooking the sea . Welcomed by friendly staff who went above and beyond . Couldn't fault the Hotel , absolutely spotless . No problem with sunbeds plenty to go around ,10 minute walk to the centre with a large number of restaurants to choose from and an excellent meal at everyone we went too. Local beach with small bar,well recommended but would recommend getting there early as it is popular . Overall couldn't fault the holiday and definitely will return to kefalonia and the Lassi Hotel .

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks in August. We know Kef really well having stayed in Lourdas many times before but never in Lassi. We were pleasantly arrived the moment our transfer pulled up. Lovely looking hotel with a great view of the sea over to Lixouri. We were immediately greeted by staff who carried our bags and booked us in at Reception, then showed us to our room. A lovely welcome. Our room is a good size with a balcony view across the water was a delight to see. The room was well presented and spotless. The bathroom was nice but small, and the shower tight but we managed fine and given the tiny amount of time you actually spend in the bathroom not a problem. The next morning we discovered a wonderful breakfast buffet. Loads of choice, fresh and constantly replenished by the very friendly and attentive staff. We breakfasted at various times and there was never a lack of food, the staff worked so hard to keep it moving. The pool was great. Quite large and loads of sun beds (and none of the problems with reserving beds). I spent a lot of time in the pool and loved it. The bar was always well stocked and prices were reasonable. The thing that stood out about the hotel for us was the staff. They were so helpful and friendly. The Greek way, I think, but they couldn’t do enough for us. Special shout out to Effie! As far as Lassi is concerned, the ***** wasn’t really for us but we were at the Argostoli end of it and set down the hill so not that close to it. To get to the main ***** it was just a few minutes walk up the hill and a right turn. We did go to a couple of restaurants but didn’t really use it much. We liked Mel’s for a quick, tasty and reasonable bite, and there was a great grocery store at the top of the hill called Dolphin which we used daily (again, great staff). But we mostly went to Argostoli (20 minute walk) to eat, or to our favourite, The Olive Lounge, up at the castle. We also discovered a taverna just along to the left of the hotel called Sto Psito which was great had the most beautiful views of the sunset. We had a wonderful holiday and having vowed we would never stay anywhere in Kef other than Lourdas we shocked ourselves. Not a massive fan of Lassi itself but the location of the hotel is right on the edge and suited us perfectly. And the proximity to Argostoli was great for us. That along with how lovely the hotel was, we would definitely return to this hotel.

Great location with fabulous views. Our room was very comfortable and extremely clean. We request extra pillows, that arrive promptly. Room had complimentary slippers a good hair dryer, kettle with complimentary tea & coffee. Bathroom was small ,the water was always hot and had complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality and you get to enjoy the sea view. Lovely big pool lots of sunbeds ,very quiet and peaceful looking onto an oliver grove. Hotel is very close to lots of fabulous beaches and a supermarket and all the restaurants and bar's. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely vibe on an evening, with most of the guests enjoying a drink or two on the lovely veranda and making new friends.
