"True, not every bedroom comes with a glorious view. Mine faced a concrete wall! But it was well appointed with the best Greek mattress I have ever slept on. There is no lift to the first floor, which was a pain for me, with age and disabilities. I have to say here that the staff team was amazing. Dealt with my luggage like professionals. Not patronising or demeaning to me in any way. I managed the stairs and took my own time. The building appears to have served a range of functions. It has been tastefully renovated. Breakfast was great! Plenty of choices . Staff asked people if they wanted more, before service ended. The single room did not have a balcony, nor would it have been practical to build one. I will return for the staff alone. It’s not easy to travel alone with disability, and I was treated with respect and dignity! That alone makes the Alley experience priceless!"

"Great stay for my son and I. We were staying for a volunteering holiday and was a great location to get around. We found the room a little dated, but it had everything we needed, cleaned beautifully every day, and we felt comfortable here. Breakfast is great, and we could keep our bikes in the courtyard which was very handy. Reception staff always helpful and accommodating."

"I loved everything about staying in this property from the soooo comfortable bed to the ease of preparing meals from the well stocked kitchenette. My stay was made perfect by getting a free upgrade which had amazing views across the sea from both balconies. The room was spotlessly clean and tended to every day. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. Christos was very informative providing me with lots of local information together with places to visit. "The hotel has a great location, not far from the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small supermarket to the right of the hotel entrance where you can buy yogurt and other similar items. Behind the hotel is a commercial street where you can shop, but the shop owners are quite casual, and some close very early. The room has a small balcony, not too big or too small. The only drawback is the poorly designed bathroom; the shower is too small, and the toilet paper isn't even next to the toilet! You can arrange airport or ferry pick-up through the hotel on Ctrip, but this will incur an additional fee."
