We enjoyed a relaxing three nights at this intelligently and beautifully designed hotel combining stonework with natural wood and glass to create a soothing restorative environment. The breakfast buffet offered a multitude of tasty homemade choices, including local cheeses, meats, a superb selection of home-made granolas, fruits, quiches, breads, fresh melt-in-your-mouth little pastries and more. The staff were lovely, with special thanks to Agathe for offering so many helpful tips for restaurants and trains. The pool area is fabulous and you can order from a small selection of lunch items plus wine etc. Beside the river, a more tranquil setting I can't imagine. One evening we enjoyed a night-cap relaxing on the patio. The photos do not do it justice. Wish I had booked for a month. Divine!
