Our stay was beyond horrible. First of all, upon arrival, we realized that we got downgraded. The room we've selected during booking was a different one; we were told that they are fully booked and cannot offer us anything different. However, when I checked online, they had plenty of available rooms. So, in the room we couldn't really sleep as the smell of mold and "old" carpet/furniture was sickening. The carpet had stains, the bed wasn't made, and the bathroom had dirt and mold in the faucet and countertops. On top of that, the mattress had multiple stains of what looked like blood and urine. So, we simply stayed out of bed. We arrived at the hotel around 9 p.m., but got a different room only at 5 a.m. the next day. We didn't sleep that night at all. The room we got moved to had really nasty smell as well in addition to the heater not working properly, and people smoking outside though this is supposed to be a non smoking hotel. They tried to compensate the entire absence of the full night of sleep with a few hours of late checkout and suggested that we should book another room at a discounted price. It pretty much ruined the whole weekend, plus my wife was late for her train to another country. Lost time cannot be returned. We've been traveling for years, and this is the worst experience ever.
