Pros: delicious (traditional) food. Great sauna area. Fantastic selection of hikes in the vicinity. Very clean. Friendly staff (for the most part). Good special offer packages on website - value for money. Cons: Rooms a little outdated. Some staff occasionally grumpy. Limited communication between staff on arrangements made for guests.

Excellent cooking and service. Beautiful nature in direct environment. Every day we started with a good breakfast (great variety) and went off for challenging walks. In the afternoon we visited a public swimming pool (free entrance, and very clean, never saw anything like it before) or enjoyed the sauna within the hotel (also very hygienic). In the late afternoon we enjoyed a couple of beers (served cold !) and sat down for a terrific diner. What else do you want? We hope te return soon.

We were looking for a wellness hotel to be able to relax, unfortunately we had to ask several times before we were shown the wellness area. The opening hours were only limited to 3 hours (3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.). We had booked full board, the food was well prepared, the dishes were mostly inexpensive products (beef tongue, fish dumplings, wild boar neck. In the end, however, we were charged an unjustified price surcharge for the food per day and person! I wonder on what basis this is based Can additional costs be charged?

Nous avons réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel hier via booking vers 17h45 …. Sur le chemin vers 18h30 ma compagne s’est fait piqué par une guêpe et a fait une allergie. Nous avons été contraint de faire demi-tour et d’annuler. La plateforme booking a bien compris le problème il nous a demandé de contacter l’établissement pour leur expliquer la situation et que normalement il devrait pouvoir nous rembourser la totalité de la chambre ! Eh ben, non ces charmants hôteliers non pas voulu ! Ils vont donc garder nos 112€ !! Belle mentalité ! De vrais bons commerçants ! J’aurai honte à leur place 🤬 🤬😡🤬

Erste Mal im Schwarzwald, sehr gute Base für Ausflüge. Schönes Hotel (3 *) Jedoch einige Bemerkungen : 1) 5 Gangmenu ist übertrieben, "kleine Salade" ist kein Gang... 2) Gute und freundliche Bedienung, aber der Chef war sehr nervös 3) Mittagsimbiss war nicht möglich, Lunchpakket minimal 4) Beim Abrechnen nur zahlen, nicht gefragt ob wir gute Ferien hätten... geweldige week gehad in dit hotel. In het bijgebouw een super kamer met waanzinnig uitzicht. Vooraf zou ik niet voor het bijgebouw hebben gekozen, maar daar zitten echt wel de topkamers. Ontbijt en (culinair hoogstaand) avondeten zaten erbij in. Evenals gebruik maken van de sauna faciliteiten. Terugrekenend zaten we daar echt heel goedkoop voor een 5 sterren verblijf. En iedere vraag werd opgelost. Bekers op de kamer om zelf koffie te maken, geen probleem neem maar mee, Badjas voor de sauna, natuurlijk regelen we. geen vragen hooguit antwoorden. Mensen wisten wie je was en welke kamer je had. Niet 1 keer werd het gevraagd. En iedere dag dag was de kamer weer blinkend schoon. Hier zou ik zo weer teruggaan.... De lift kon na 22.30 niet meer gebruikt worden waardoor de nachten extra rustig waren.

Dit hotel is een echte aanrader, de uitbaters zijn heel vriendelijk alsook het personeel. Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid en het avondeten is héél lekker . Wij hebben een superieure kamer geboekt en deze voldeed aan onze verwachtingen. Buiten het hotel is er niet veel te zien in de omgeving, maar men kan een treintje nemen en verschillende steden bezoeken. Het hotel meer dan ok maar de omgeving iets minder
