Nice hotel, stayed for one night, located near the fountain square and the Old Town. There is a shop in the same house. The room was not very big, ok for one night. The bathroom is spacious, but somehow outdated, in fact, like the style of the room, I would like something more fashionable or something. Breakfast is good, there is plenty to choose from. It's a little strange that not all the staff at the hotel speak Russian, although the whole city speaks it.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. We booked a room for three (!) months in advance and made an advance payment. And on the day of check-in, we found out that our reservation was canceled due to overbooking. We had to look for another place to stay in a hurry.

(M) friend and I (F) checked in, room 313. We booked 2 single beds, but said if we could get in to the room early (1pm) we would share. Room had 2 separate bedroooms and a lounge. While out, my half unpacked bag was moved into my friends room. Wallet, day pack etc still in lounge area and strangers were in 2nd bedroom. No warning at all that we were to be sharing a room with strangers. Disgusted, hoping not been robbed and feeling pretty violated.

Comfy rooms, close to city centre, clean, fabulous breakfast spread and service but not open for lunch or dinner. A laundry service was offered, but totally unreliable. 24 hours after submitting my laundry I had a phone call to the room yo say it would not be ready til noon the following day. The following day I asked for my laundry and was told it would not be ready for yet another day. When I said we couldn’t wait longer, as due to check out (after 3 nights there and one to go), she laughed!!!! Obviously thought it funny that we would be travelling on without clean clothes

This hotel really needs to work on its manners and professionalism. My parents had quite a rough time during their check-out experience there. They arrived in Baku early in the morning, and knowing that the official check-in time is 2 PM, we reached out to the hotel's reception via WhatsApp to ask if it was possible to have an early check-in. They reassured us that this wouldn't be a problem and promised to arrange the room by 7 AM. So, my parents got to the hotel and were initially assigned a smaller room. Later, they were upgraded to a bigger one. However, the real trouble came during the check-out process when they had to deal with Mr. Salim. He was extremely rude and seemed to have forgotten basic courtesy, especially when dealing with elderly guests. To our surprise, he insisted on charging 140 manat because they had an early check-in. We showed him the WhatsApp message, clearly stating our early check-in request, with the hotel's assurance that it wasn't inconvenient. The fact that they didn't inform us about the charges beforehand and then suddenly sprung it on us during check-out felt like harassment. This whole ordeal really put a damper on what could have been a pleasant trip. The hotel itself was decent with good rooms, but it's evident that their staff needs to learn manners.

This hotel provides a comfortable room and a good breakfast within an easy walk of Fountains square and the old city. It is also next to an excellent supermarket. The reception area is tiny. If you are looking for any other facilities look elsewhere but we found it perfectly adequate.

We enjoyed our spacious, clean and modern room within walking distance of all major sites. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was spectacular. Some street noise was heard but I had ear plugs and Ambien. There were quiet rooms around a courtyard available. There was only a reception desk at the entrance and no amenities

I stayed here for 4 nights at the start of a group trip around the Caucasus, therefore the hotel was chosen by Intrepid rather than by me. Room The room was large and had everything that I needed for 4 nights. On arrival there was a problem with the safe, which was quickly fixed by the hotel. Bed was super comfy and I slept really well. I would have preferred not to be hearing the music which was pumped out into the corridors all day every day. Location A great location near to the old town (about a 5 minute walk to the edge of the city wall). About a 10 minute walk to the promenade. Facilities The hotel literally has no facilities, which I found very odd, bearing in mind it is supposed to be a 4-star hotel (I don't see how it can be). There is no bar or any communal area other than the v small restaurant space, which isn't appropriate to sit in outside of breakfast time. F&B We were on B&B only. The spread was actually quite good and I was able to try some local pastries for breakfast. It was all supervised very carefully by the restaurant manager. Other than that I'm not actually sure if lunch or dinner are provided, because we didn't eat there. Overall this hotel was very average - should I be in Baku again I would choose somewhere else that had a bit more personality and communal space.

Good and clean hotel, the people are kind and helpful, the receptionist is cheerful, and breakfast is available but no more choices, near Nozami Street which is the central and main street in Baku for shopping and restaurants, and the rooms are good.
