The complimentary items provided, such as the peach wood comb, toiletries, towels, and cotton-linen slippers, are all of high quality. It feels like you're bringing home a lot of lovely souvenirs after just one stay! Service: The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile and patiently resolving any issues. Breakfast is quite generous, and in the evenings, they even provide complimentary chilled mung bean soup and Bingfen (a local dessert) when you return to your room. Environment: The hotel is nestled amidst ancient architecture and traditional gardens. Staying here allows you to truly appreciate the distinctive black tiles, white walls, and blue bricks of Huizhou's ancient buildings. I only wish I could have stayed for a few more days!

This guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, making it super convenient for resting after an evening stroll. The decor is charmingly traditional, perfectly complementing the Huizhou architectural style. The guesthouse itself feels like an integral part of the scenic area, featuring a garden restaurant and a coffee bar where you can even pet cats. The owner is fantastic, offering luggage pickup and drop-off services right from the bus station. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

Bring my mother to Hongcun for a trip 🧳, I love the service of Yinmo. It is very intimate. I specially arranged a quiet room in the middle, especially the delicious and fresh Anhui dishes. When I know that we have not eaten well, although after the meal, the boss also cooks in person. Let us order as needed, fried and cooked, and we will wait for us to come back for dinner in the evening to wipe out the fatigue of the journey. Yin Mo: The first is that the new building not only has breakfast (Hongcun is more suitable for hotels with breakfast) has an elevator 🛗 Convenient without climbing 👍 Also, it is very close to the entrance of the west gate of Hongcun, which is very convenient. The room facilities are complete, the mattress is particularly comfortable, the bedding is a high-quality combed cotton plus item, lying down and seeing the white wall and black tiles outside the window for a second into the dream. Clean, the bathroom is also specially equipped with disinfectant cotton pads and disposable toilet pads, and the air conditioning system is also powerful. What an absolute pity...... that we only stayed for one night. It was a totally relaxing and perfect location for us to put our feet up after hiking for 3 days in HuangShan. We booked the detached grand suite which allowed us to have access to a whole traditional home with 3 bedrooms. All bedrooms had its own bathroom and toilet, heating... basically modern facilities and tastefully decorated. For me, it felt like staying in an old traditional home in one of the kung fu movies that I grew up watching. Not only did we have the whole house to ourselves, we had our own private garden (across from the house), where there is a swing, entertaining area and even a stove for us to light a fire. The couple owner are so lovely to deal with even before our stay began. They ensured that they are ready to greet us just outside the village at our arrival time. Please note that no taxis are allowed into the village and all visitors must purchase an entry ticket before entering the village. This can be purchased on Trip.com or at the entrance of the village. The owner lady was on hand to help us and showed us to our accommodation. She had even turned on all the heating in the rooms to ensure that we're nice and comfortable when we arrived. Map and points of interest were also provided for us. As we had to leave early in the morning (before sunrise), the owners happily arranged to have our luggage transported to outside the village where our taxi was waiting for us. It was such a pleasant and relaxing stay that, again, it is such a pity we couldn't have stayed longer. Definitely highly recommend staying at She De Yuan.

I can't recommend Muhua Hotel in Hongcun highly enough. I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The manager and staff were so friendly, accommodating, helpful, and hospitable that it truly felt like home from the moment I arrived. Every need was met with warmth and a smile, making me feel like family rather than just a guest. With its spotless charm and such genuine care, this hotel is a true gem. Thank you to the entire team. I will definitely stay here again.

Highly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰. I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

The courtyard has a great design, perfect for taking photos and checking in. However, the downside is that during the day, many tourists pass by and even enter the courtyard to take pictures, making it very noisy. It's almost impossible to get some rest or a quick nap indoors during the day. In contrast, it's very quiet at night, and the ambiance is excellent. The distinctive Huizhou architectural style is prominent, and overall it's quite good. The owner also arranges for an uncle to pick up guests and luggage from the bus station, and their responses are very prompt. Courtyard No. 2 is only a five-minute walk from Yueyao Pond and the Ancestral Temple, making it ideal for early risers to snap photos before the crowds arrive.

Wonderful stay in a truly unique property. Zhang Mansion is much more than just a hotel: it is an authentic experience inside an ancient traditional mansion, perfectly immersed in the historic atmosphere of Hongcun. It almost feels like being transported back in time, into the quiet and refined beauty of China from several centuries ago. The interiors are full of charm, history, and character, and staying here allows you to experience the village in a much deeper way than a simple day visit. The atmosphere is calm, evocative, and almost cinematic. A very sweet detail: the property’s cat and dog are genuinely lovely and add an even warmer, more memorable touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, romantic, and timeless stay.

Traveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!
