A beautiful getaway in northern Ubud. First of all, the staff in this hotel were very friendly and welcoming and their service was better than some five star hotels I have stayed at. The location is a perfect hidden oasis away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. For our purposes, it was perfect as it’s closer to Mount Batur, which means you can get picked up later for a tour there and get a great spot to watch the sunrise in the morning. However, it will take some time to get to places like Ubud market during the day (traffic at night is much better). There are a few local restaurants around however we didn’t need to go there as the food in the hotel was amazing. The breakfast is not a buffet, but it leads to less food waste which I think is great and the breakfast options were great - espically the Nasi Goreng. The room felt like a jungle escape with the canopy on the bedding. It was a very large room and bathroom, there are some ants wondering around (you are in nature after all) but very little mosquitos as they spray the hotel. If I had to improve one thing, it would be the general cleanliness of the linens provided and changing the soap in the bathroom as it had a bit of a strange sulphur scent. Nevertheless, the hospitality in this hotel is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Bali!

Amazing hotel right in the middle of the jungle near Ubud. The whole staff was so helpful and made sure at all times that we were comfortable. The restaurant of the hotel has an amazing view and offers excellent breakfast options in the morning. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is located outside of town so a driver or own transportation is needed. There is a free shuttle to Ubud city centre that is very handy in case you want to visit the city. Definitely do not regret to have booked there and avoided the crowd and noise of Ubud city.

Very peaceful place. Room was so clean and all staffs were so kind. It’s bit far from the Ubud palace but we have relaxed so much. Floating breakfast was so amazing

The worst thing for the price i paid is the blinds in the bad tub are broken, where people outside can see you while taking a bath. Though bed is ok n balcony view Food tastes worse and is expensive in small portions only. Far from an interesting place. But staff are accommodating and friendly Not worth the price. Please improve the food n room specially the suite.

It was beyond our expectations! 😍 The staff treats you like a family! Great nature, pool and delicious food. They offer variety of different activities as well. Spa is worth visiting. We are so much grateful to the staff for making our stay so comfortable and pleasant. - It would be nice to include more options for breakfast - It’s difficult to get a taxi there

The staff and service are great, very kind and welcoming. Complementary fruit and drink are fresh. I enjoyed free yoga and the service. The location is kinda remote, it's located in the forest yet a good choice for people looking for nature and zen.

The interior style feels a bit rustic and French, very comfortable. The hotel as a whole is very green and feels very close to nature. It is suitable for adults who want to be leisurely, quiet and relaxed. The environment and techniques of massage are also highly recommended.

This is a resort villa surrounded by nature, deep in the forest of Ubud. The breakfast is very stylish, there is an infinity pool overlooking the forest, and the showers have hot water. This is the perfect hotel for a leisurely vacation. It took about an hour to walk to Tirtaul Puru Temple, but there were many slopes, so if you are not confident in your stamina, it is better to take a taxi. Instead, the scenery we saw on the way was one of the most stimulating and interesting of our trip to Bali. I was not able to go to the spa or yoga, so I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

My favorite resort in Ubud, it feels like home

Let me talk about the advantages first: As soon as you walk in, there are green plants everywhere. It is indeed a paradise, small and exquisite. It is far from the city, so the restaurant is very important. Fortunately, the taste is good. It is delicious although not cheap, and the environment is very good. When eating, I feel like I am in the forest. I like it very much. There are not many people and it is quiet. The service is very good. All employees will greet customers when they see them. There is a free half-hour yoga class in the morning. Although the teacher's level is average, it is also very good to exercise, and the yoga room is very spacious and has a good environment! There is no one at other times. If you practice by yourself, I think the experience should be great! After practicing yoga, you can go to have breakfast. Maybe because there are not many guests, the breakfast here is a set of pre-meal bread, fruit, coffee, juice, tea, and staple food. I think it is also good and not wasteful. Let's talk about the disadvantages: the room is not soundproof at all. You can hear the conversation next door clearly. It is very noisy next door in the middle of the night. I can't stand it. I called the front desk to complain. The next second I heard the phone in the next room ringing, and then it was quiet hahaha! The cleanliness of the bedding was average, a little damp. I want to complain about the mosquito net hanging on the bed. As soon as I put it down, I smelled a very stinky and fumed smell. I felt that I would be poisoned by formaldehyde. I tied it up again immediately. It was really unbearable. The water pressure in the bathroom was a little low, and it took half a day to take a shower. The most fatal thing is that it is really far from the city! Although there is a shuttle bus, the last one returns at 6 o'clock. After watching the show in the evening, I can only take a taxi back by myself, which costs at least 60 or 70 yuan. A trip to Ubud city without traffic jams takes more than half an hour, and a traffic jam takes an hour. I was tired after going out, and then I decisively stayed in the hotel the next day.
