First Residence Hotel Reviews

The hotel itself was very nice- the stand were friendly and the room was clean! It’s a quick walk to the beach and to some good restaurants. It has a pool downstairs and also another pool and beach at the sister hotel down the road. Only downside was some of the other guests were very noisy. Like all night partying on three occasions. In the end we asked to move rooms and the hotel staff were fine with it, but worth mentioning as it definitely affected our stay here.

The staff is very helpful and can speak English well, the overall environment is clean and comfortable.

Good hotel great staff room was serviced to a very high standard daily, pool was spotless with beds and umbrellas around it, you can also use the great beach at there sister hotel first residence bungalows just a short walk away. We didn’t eat at the hotel as there were so many small local restaurants within a short walk. Would highly recommend first residence hotel. Thank you to all the staff👍🏻😎

First residence hotel was in a great location, and the room was comfortable.

The hotel was in a good location, walking distance to the beach. Hotel was clean, and a good size pool too. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Friendly staff too. We would definitely stay again!

Was a good value hotel for a short overnight stay near the airport before I headed off to another island. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was substantial. Room was spacious. Soap and shampoo provided. Some shops for food within walking distance.

The rooms are spacious and clean. We arrived around 8am and were allowed to check in early. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful. In front of the hotel there is a motorbike rental place. We got a room with a balcony and a view of the hills.

Good hotel for your money. I’ll write about the pros, the cons are not very significant...well, only if you don’t compare with 5 stars) Spacious, bright room, balcony with stunning mountain views! Well, there’s a whole set of towels, the kind you can have for the beach, for the feet and hands, and for the bath). Comfortable large beds, linens. The room has a thermos, coffee, glasses and mugs. Fridge. Comfortable and spacious wardrobes. Good pressure in the shower and bathroom. Shampoo, gel, paper. In general, everything you need for comfort. 5 star cleaning service! Every day they cleaned our place as soon as we left... when we arrived everything was shiny, the beds were made perfectly, a new set of towels, water, paper. There is a nice swimming pool and sun loungers on site. There are breakfasts, but I can’t say anything about them, we didn’t order this option. Nearby is the embankment in 5-7 minutes. This is a chain hotel and its brother is located on the shore and you can use their sun loungers and the beach. The embankment has co**** sand, shells, and some stones. 7/11 is a 10-15 minute walk away. Nearby is an Italian restaurant with luxurious oven-baked pizza, the owner is Italian. I highly recommend two Russian restaurants, coffee shops and a Grandma restaurant closer to the embankment, budget-friendly, tasty and atmospheric! It took 25-30 minutes to walk to the center (landmark Festival Shopping Center) along the embankment. Songthaew, taxis will cost 300 baht, keep that in mind. If you are an esthete, then of course there is something to complain about, the hotel is a bit old... the pool area is not very nice, but these are such minor things compared to all the advantages.
