Hai Tide Beach Resort

Hi, the wife and I spent 1 week in the beachfront villas November 2025. Somethings you are not told about , are the dogs on the beach no one seems to own , they are not controlled and are prone to fighting a c barking in the early hours. The beach is not cleaned by staff till late morning , I frequently brought In plastic rubbish floating from my 7am swim. I suggested staff with a fish net should be employed from 6am . You are paying top dollar at this resort $260 per night . The 2 pools are good, the staff are to be commended. Tha prices for meals are now at Australia levels as most places now add, a 10% gov. Tax plus a 10 % service charge, and all your accommodation has to be paid upfront. The floating pontoon you have to travel by boat , about 4 minutes, however there is no coral, the best place for viewing and snorkel is at the next island nusa Pendia . In all a good experience, but not the best value.

We had a very enjoyable week at Hai Tide last August, staying in a villa with a friend. The villas are beautifully designed and spacious with their own pool. Spacious without being overwhelmingly grand and with all rooms connected. The staff are very friendly and super helpful, especially Agus, the assistant manager who went to great lengths to help our friend obtain the vital medication she had left at home. He drove her to a local pharmacy which was out of stock but they ordered it from the mainland. Upshot was that it came over on the ferry the next day and Agus drove Eva to the pharmacy again to collect it. Wonderful caring service, difficult to find in Australia and probably Europe too. Africa is an exception. They are very hospitable there too.
