Super convenient, the atm and convenient store right in front of the hotel, everything else within walking distance. Fine place to stay, depending on your preferences.

Great hotel on the ocean :) The view of Volcano Agung is amazing :) You can swim calmly in the ocean without waves)

The hotel is in a good location, right on the roadside, very convenient. You can see the sea when you open the door! The hotel has a swimming pool and the environment is very good! It’s a bit far to be superficial! It takes 15 minutes to ride a motorcycle!

A hotel with a strategic location close to Amed fasum. Nice mountain and sea views. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. The staff are friendly. For facilities according to the 3-star hotel class, my advice is to improve the quality of the wifi internet service. Hopefully you can stay again on vacation furthermore.

The facility is beautifully located by the sea with direct access to the beach. A bit away from the main street, so it is very quiet and intimate here. On the other side of the main street, there is a well-stocked grocery store with a useful ATM inside. The hotel is actually attached, exceptionally large bungalows with a terrace. Some of the bungalows have a direct view of the restaurant and the outdoor swimming pool, behind which there is the beach and the sea. The area surrounding the bungalows is covered with rich vegetation (bushes, flowers, trees, palms) which the staff clearly cares about. The rooms in the bungalows are very large, with a separate bedroom and a working area with a wardrobe and cabinets, a desk, a fridge, a kettle, sefe etc. A large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower. The bedroom has a very large and super comfortable bed, with a view of the garden and the swimming pool (or the pool restaurant) through the front glass wall. Check-in went quite smoothly, after which one of the staff took us to the booked bungalow and explained what and where it was located. The food in the restaurant is very good and relatively inexpensive, although 100 m away along the beach there are slightly cheaper bars, but payment there is only in cash. From the restaurant and swimming pool there is a beautiful view of the Agung volcano. I don't understand why some reviewers complained that the water in the pool was too warm. And what should it be like? Chilled because water got too hot from the sun. In my opinion, a very nice swimming pool, with clean water, with several comfortable sun loungers with umbrellas and tables. Breakfast in the restaurant is a selection of dishes and side dishes from several sets, not the Swedish buffet, but still sufficient and tasty. Great value for money. If we are ever in this area again, we will definitely stay here, but this time for longer. One minus - poor WiFi. In our bungalow we were unable to connect to the network, despite many attempts. Having a regional e-SIM card installed in the phone, we did not intervene in this matter at the reception.

We arrived and Bookings.com had cancelled our booking (card mix up). They were very accommodating. The first night we had a pool view room, the next we had a garden view. Resort only about 2 years old. It is much better then the pictures on the website. Great large rooms and huge beds. Excellent pool that is next to the ocean. $85A for a pool view room and $75 for a garden view with breakfast. Bargain. Breakfast just OK.

Our second stay at the Seamount and so disappointed after staying last year. The place is cutting back on services that affect guest enjoyment. Rooms: the Seaview rooms are quite spacious but be ware that if there are hordes of children using the pool, noise is a factor. Lack of information in the room such as how to what TV via YouTube or Kodic. Management should have saved money and not put in TV’s. Not even a pen or paper to write a note etc. Bathrooms: poor cleaning see mould starting to appear around the bath. Simple clean with bleach would fix but I doubt if management actually checks. Breakfast: very poor. From al last carte last year to buffet this year. Fried rice and noodles. Garlic vegetables. Toast, coffee & tea. If you request eggs other than fried they will accomodate. No fruit juice, no cereals. I’m other words penny pinching by management. Hotel Grounds: pool is very nice but the gardens need regular maintenance, and cut the grass occasionally. Plants look dead. Reception: staff have minimal English so repeating requests is the go. Very poor in replying to emails. Overall, Seamount has gone down hill in the 12 months since our last visit and prices gone up. Once a hotel starts taking tourist bus loads in, you know there are issues. But it’s the breakfast offering that killed it for me. Would I stay here again? No, there are better offerings in Amed that are cheaper

Our second stay at Seamount. This time the breakfast has gone downhill. From being an excellent al la carte to a not so good buffet with minimum choices. If you ask they will knock something up for you. Other wise it’s eggs anyway everyway or garlic vegetables, fried rice or fried noodles. No cereals, no fruit juices & no yogurts with the fresh fruit. Breakfast for me is a deal maker or breaker.

I decided to do some exploring around Bali having being here for 6 weeks already with a week in Kuta, 2 weeks in Sanur and 3 weeks so far in Ubud. All I can say is I wish I'd gone to Amed weeks ago! The sea was crystal clear, the beaches were clean and the views of Mt Agung are amazing. The mountains around Amed have amazing views and beautiful rivers all within a short ride. My stay at The Seamount hotel was an absolute highlight! The rooms are modern and comfortable with a desk, lounge, small patio and a good internet connection. I came to Bali mainly for the food which is a favourite pastime of mine and why I travel. I can honestly say the food at the restaurant was some of the best I've had in Bali and and the prices are more than reasonable. The staff are amazing and fun to get along with and if I wasn't at language school 2 days a week learning Bahasa Indonesia in Ubud I would have absolutely stayed until my time in Bali ran out! If you like quiet little towns or if your into diving do not pass up the opportunity to visit Amed and the Seamount hotel!
