First time in the Salt House. A very enjoyable stay. Breakfast and evening meal was fantastic and accommodation was excellent. Only disappointment was the situation of the room. No view at all, although as only a short stay, we didn’t mind.

Best hotel in Northern Ireland! We had the most fun weekend in the salthouse hotel. We stayed in the lodges with our own private hot tub the views are amazing. Comfiest beds gorgeous interiors and absolutely spotless. Food was incredible, the staff are so good and on the ball, great atmosphere and the lookout cocktails are unreal! Perfect for friends getaway or family trips so much to do. Can’t wait to go back

Great stay, very modern with a great view. The room and bathroom were good, although very warm. Spa & treatments were amazing, great view from the hot tub. The one thing that could have been better was dinner, the steaks were over cooked and the table was placed beside a wall instead of the great view over the coast (I had asked when booking to be placed at a table with a view). Staff were all great!

On first impressions the hotel is lovely, clean and modern but the building work does detract from the views. When we got into our room it was fine but the door leads directly to the room and is right next to the door for room 209!!! The room did feel hot and the thermostat on the wall was reading 25degrees. I checked the radiators which were turned off and then adjusted the thermostat on the wall down to 18. When for drinks and then dinner. Got back to our room around 10.30 and it was still hot! Opened the window and when to sleep. Woke around 3.00, sweating, 24degrees still bear in mind it is May and 10degrees outside, where was the heat coming from could not sleep. At 7.00 am the family in room 209 were up. In and out of there room, they may as well been in ours. Then to top it off NO HOT WATER! Cold showers then breakfast. Spent almost £400 on food and one night stay, pointed the issues out when checking out and the breakfast was deducted from my bill, £30.. really. A different room, hot water and I am sure the experience would have been excellent.

First time staying here. Hotel is in a beautiful location with panoramic views of the coastline. Our room was spacious and very clean although we did move the second night due to what appeared to be a plumbing issue related to the sound of running water especially noticeable during the night. The staff were kind enough to relocate us to a similar room without the water noise. The food was excellent and well presented both at breakfast and evening dinner. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel in general is very well presented and is very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay which was helped by very nice staff and beautiful food. Would recommend.

Had a lovely 1 night stay in the Salthouse with a group of friends. We had a twin and a triple room. The rooms were lovely and clean a credit to the housekeepers. We had a lovely meal in the LookOut restuarant and the staff were so nice and nothing was a bother to them. The views are stunning and the weather made it perfect. All staff was so lovely and nothing a bother to any of them!

Had a lovely couple of days at Salthouse, mainly eating delicious food & watching the changing sky & view. All our meals were delicious, with an excellent gluten free selection. We enjoyed a treatment in the spa, then sat in the outside jacuzzi, in the rain, wind & sun. The view was spectacular. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, room was large with really comfy bed.

This hotel is beautiful and in a wonderful setting .The staff are welcoming , friendly and attentive. However the entire experience was let down by the food . The evening meal was bland and tasteless and the breakfast while plentiful was mediocre. On the basis of the food I would not stay at this exceptional setting again
