If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, this is a great hotel. It's very nice inside, clean, with great staff.
The rooms are spacious, kept clean and with all furnishings in good condition. Tea and coffee in the room, plenty of towels and basic toiletries (soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner). Iron and hairdryer. Adequate curtains and the windows are thick enough to block out the sound of the highway traffic.
The lobby is impressively grand for such an affordable hotel, and there's plenty of common space to hang out, with ample electrical outlets. The breakfast corner is easy to find (and it starts at 6:30am!), as are the elevators (there are also fire stairs). Vending machines and ice on the guest floors. Parking lot on the side.
It's not the most pedestrian friendly part of the city, but you can walk around safely during the daytime (it didn't feel great at night, and this was reinforced by them making the front door key card access only). It's about 20 minutes' walk down along the highway to the harbor, with Little Italy's restaurants along the way.
Easy check in and check out process, no annoying card hold charges.
