GGuest UserIt’s really a beautiful view up there, it’s so beautiful, the 360-degree surrounding scenery, the snow-capped mountains feel very close to you, it’s really worth it, there are support facilities in the house, and someone will help you with your luggage as soon as you arrive. Highly recommended if you don’t have high-reflection

HHexuhexuThe documentary showed me the Nalangma Community Library, and I learned about its story and the Lagang Pasture.
This time, my vacation in Tagong was relaxed; I only visited Lagang, and it was so comfortable that I decided to stay another night – a true ”secluded retreat.”
The traditional ******* architecture, the close-to-nature atmosphere, the complete facilities (no TVs, which made it quieter – definitely a plus), and the thoughtful amenities all showed genuine care.
The owner and his team were all warm, honest, attentive, and efficient – a truly welcoming experience. And then there's the pet dog, a local cow.
You can see the sunrise over the mountains directly from your room. Of course, taking a short walk to the pasture behind the guesthouse for photos would be even more immersive. You can even hike across the grassland to reach the Muya Grand Temple, a little over two kilometers one way. Unfortunately, the wind was strong and the temperature was low that night, so I couldn't see the Milky Way and the starry sky for long. Next time the season changes, I'll have to remind myself to bring a tripod, shoot some time-lapses, and find a different ranch experience.

GGuest UserThe B&B is in the suburbs, but it is also very close to the downtown area of Kangding, and it only takes more than ten minutes to drive there. The hot spring has a strong sulfur smell, and the open-air hot spring courtyard is designed very carefully, which is not only beautiful but also private. The B&B gave us a private hot spring, and the pool was unexpectedly large. The courtyard of the entire B&B is also worth mentioning. There are many flowers planted, and it can be seen that they are all carefully maintained. Whether it is basking in the sun during the day or soaking in the hot spring, blowing the wind and watching the stars at night, it is very comfortable. We drove all the way to Kangding and got a truly relaxing stay.

CCztangtangbabaThe scenery is stunning, the rooms offer excellent views, the hotel grounds are vast, the parking lot is spacious, the overall ambiance is fantastic, the facilities are complete, the underfloor heating is powerful, and the dining service is impeccable… Especially since I visited during the off-season, with heavy snow outside, the underfloor heating inside was incredibly comfortable. There were even oxygen concentrators and humidifiers available. The off-season price was very reasonable, making it excellent value for money… I couldn't resist taking several photos at the hotel. If you're looking for a photoshoot, this hotel is a great place, a blend of modern Instagrammable style and traditional ******* aesthetics. The owner was friendly and talkative, and the staff were lively and friendly. I'll definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserThis hotel was good except for the disappointment about the gym. We booked this hotel specifically out of others in kangding as it was written on booking that the hotel offers a gym. We are on a training program and need a gym. When we arrived and asked about the gym they said that the gym had not been opened yet. When I asked why they advertise themselves as hotel with a gym the response was “we used to have a gym, now it’s under renovation because some of the equipment is out of use”, and when I asked if I still could use what equipment that was working, the response was simply no and that I can go to an outdoor exercise area outside in the freezing cold. So rude! Except for this the hotel was totally fine, nice rooms and good breakfast. Just don’t advertise what you don’t have online, it leaves costumers dissatisfied even if the rest was good.

AAlyssa Teng 敏丽Super hospitable hosts. Very welcoming. Room is very clean. Shower room was awesome. Smart room comes in handy. We even caught drama on the projector before bedtime. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Highly recommended!
Just some things to take note of, though it didn’t bother us at all:
there’s no lift and
it’s abit of an uphill/downhill walk to 柳柳城.

房间干净，淋浴房和厕所也同样。

老板娘帮我们背行李上楼。
去溜溜城也需要走上下坡。

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were absolutely lovely! So warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Our original room's projector wasn't working, so they promptly moved us to another one. We went during the off-season, and it was also their restocking period, so we couldn't have a bonfire, which was a bit of a shame. However, the environment is still beautiful. The breakfast was incredibly considerate; because we were suffering from altitude sickness, they brought a full meal directly to our room. It was a well-balanced and nutritious mix of meat and vegetables. Plus, it's dog-friendly! It's definitely worth it, and I've already recommended it to my friends.

GGuest UserJust got back from Xinduqiao, and while the memory's still fresh, I absolutely have to rave about this unexpected gem we stumbled upon. Honestly, by the time we reached Xinduqiao, I was pretty tired and didn't have high expectations for accommodation; I just wanted a decent night's sleep. But this place gave me quite a few pleasant surprises.
The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was how 'un-highland-like warm' it was. The underfloor heating was cranked up, and walking barefoot felt incredibly comfortable. There was a free oxygen diffuser running, almost silently, and indeed, it was the soundest sleep I'd had since arriving at altitude. No headaches, and I woke up feeling completely refreshed.
My room had a window with an excellent view, and the scenery was truly breathtaking – nestled by mountains and a river. In the evening, I just curled up on the sofa in my room, doing nothing but watching the mountains and clouds outside slowly change colors, from golden to pinkish-purple, eventually darkening as stars began to twinkle one by one. In that moment, all the driving I'd done that day felt absolutely worth it.
The hotel's common areas were also quite interesting. The coffee bar and screening area were connected and designed with an open feel. I ordered a drink here one evening and chatted with some fellow travelers I'd met on the road; the atmosphere was very relaxed. I only realized it was pet-friendly when I saw other guests with their dogs – one dog was quietly lounging on the terrace, enjoying the view, which was quite heartwarming.
The staff didn't feel like 'hotel employees'; they were more like friends helping you out. I casually asked where the best spot for sunrise was, and the guy not only gave detailed directions but also showed me photos he'd taken on his phone and offered time recommendations. If I had to pick a flaw, since the hotel is newly opened, you can still see a few signs of it being fresh and not fully 'broken in,' but it's nothing major. Breakfast is a simple set menu, but a steaming bowl of rice noodles hit the spot perfectly. For those driving, parking is very convenient.
Overall, it doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like a warm haven that understands both the plateau and its travelers. If you're passing through Xinduqiao and looking for a comfortable and good-value place to stay, this one is definitely worth considering.

The service was completely unprofessional. The staff knew nothing about basic amenities like in-room oxygen supply and would just push responsibility around when issues arose. The restaurant staff's attire was chaotic, without a uniform dress code, giving a very unhygienic impression. The room's cleanliness was appalling; the toilet paper was stored in a contaminated spot, making it unusable. There was a strong, pungent odor indoors, giving a strong sense of formaldehyde exceeding safe levels. Staying in the room for long periods caused dizziness and chest tightness, making it completely unsuitable for occupancy.
Paid a high price for an experience worse than a budget hotel. Management is disorganized, and hygiene is a serious concern. Highly do not recommend.

GGuest UserAs soon as I stepped into this hotel in Kangding, I felt warm. The room is warmly decorated and has sufficient heating, which drives away the chill of the plateau. The night view outside the window is charming, and you can see the brilliant lights of Kangding City. The hotel also provides considerate measures to deal with altitude sickness, and the service is excellent. There are many dining options nearby and travel is convenient. Highly recommended to friends who come to Kangding!!!
