Anonymous UserIt's a bit of a walk from Sukhbaatar Square, but the hotel is conveniently located with a restaurant right downstairs and a convenience store directly across the street. The facilities are clean, water pressure is strong, and shampoo and toothbrushes are provided. It would be perfect if they also offered pajamas. I felt reassured by having staff at the reception even for an early morning check-out. This might be true for Ulaanbaatar in general, but it's probably best not to go out late at night as the atmosphere can feel a bit rough.

Guest UserMy very 1st trip to Ulaanbaatar has been made perfect with the staying at Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel.
It’s located in a very central and convenient area, just next to the Sukhbaatar Square. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast has a good selection.
More importantly, the staffs at the Reception desk are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I wish to give 10 out of 5 for their incredible hospitality. In particular, when I inquired the airport bus, Degi not only helped me downloading the UB Smart Bus app to check out the buses but also prepared a small map to ensure I can find the bus stop at night. She also helped us in arranging a cab for work. Bold, a young gentleman on his gap year, warmly received us upon arrival. He even took some cash out of his own pocket when I asked for help in getting smaller notes for the cab charge. Besides, they also speak very decent English, making our communications much easier and impeccable.
I shall definitely come back to Best Western Tuushin for future trips to Ulaanbaatar. Many thanks indeed for all the wonderful experiences and memories.

I had a wonderful stay at The Blue Sky Hotel and Tower. The location is perfect, with easy access to the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and ready to help. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable, clean, and offered a great view. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

I had a pleasant stay at the Ramada Hotel overall. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The location is a major highlight for me, as it’s very convenient. I had to pick up my husband early in the morning from the airport, and it only took about 45 minutes, which worked out perfectly.
There is also a lounge on the top floor, which is a nice feature, although it felt a bit old-fashioned. In fact, the hotel overall has an older style and could benefit from some modernization.
The room itself was on the smaller side but still comfortable enough for a short stay. One issue I noticed was with the bathroom ventilation. Even though I was on a non-smoking floor, when I turned on the ventilator, cigarette smoke seemed to come through. Once I turned it off, the smell disappeared.
Additionally, we stayed two nights, and housekeeping did not come to make up the room, which was a bit disappointing. This is an area the hotel could improve.
Overall, despite a few inconveniences, I would still recommend this hotel for its great service and excellent location.

Guest UserThe hotel room is spacious, and the location is good, about a 15-minute walk from the plaza. However, the breakfast was a bit limited and served in small portions. There are restaurants on the first two floors below, and the Chinese restaurant served up some delicious food – we ate there twice!

We stayed at Platinum Hotel in Ulaanbaatar with my wife, and overall, it was a great experience from start to finish.
We booked a Deluxe King-size room, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a beautiful view over the city, which we really enjoyed, especially in the evenings. The bed was large and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any requests and making us feel at home throughout our stay. Their attitude really added to the overall positive impression of the hotel.
Breakfasts were also excellent — a good variety of options, everything fresh and tasty, and a great way to start the day.
All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Platinum Hotel to anyone visiting Ulaanbaatar. It’s a great combination of comfort, cleanliness, and friendly service, and we would happily stay here again in the future.

D. ChoRoom: The hotel needs to clean the room thoroughly, not just the bathroom but also the carpeted area, and fix the base board moldings as well as the loose heater radiator which supposed to be anchored down to the wall. Although the room is carpeted wall to wall, I can see bare floor on the edges and the corners.
Location: Not good, but at the same time not bad either. All attractions are within $3~$4 away which is more than I paid in other ~stan countries nearby. May be it is a Mongoljan thing, but for me it wasn't easy to hire taxi cab unless I am willing to pay the extra tips.
The front staffs: Very friendly and eager to provide help. Not all of them speaks English, but it is not a problem since they translator app is widely available.
Furnitures in the room: Very old, and there are wears and tears every part of the furniture. I don't know the other rooms, but the room I was given was too small for the furnitures to be placed in first place.
Overall: I wouldn't stay here again. The over all conditions of the hotel was not even close to the pictures shown in the trip.com app. If you select this hotel based on the pictures, you would be very disappointed if you are given the room I stayed in. Avoid Room 602 anyway you can.
