Kuching Hotels with Bars

Hilton’s location is right smack but they lack cleanliness as shown in the photos, the dust on the top of the bed frame and wardrobe that doesn’t close properly. The breakfast areas in the mornings are also packed with people with not enough spaces to seat. Having been to hotels where they are sufficiently staffed, they could have split tables enabling single guests to seat but the hotel was just unable to cope with the breakfast crowd.

Refurbish and now VOCO. Filter water installed. Bed too soft not suitable for tall guest. Aircond blower too loud! Asked for bath towel 4 times before they could deliver. Hotel crew not very attentive rather just toooo slow. House keeper throw my skin care & body lotion (sachets) that kept inside the washroom. Burnt roti canai served in breakfast. Despite multiple times of complaint, no solution were given. Prepay online and no approval granted for early check out. I've to bare it 2 nights. Hardly any sleep. I ended up getting myself ear plug. Not a pleasant stay. Location, cleanliness and generally ok. Ways to improve

I stayed here for 6 days to relax, and it truly is a haven of peace. I really enjoyed the beautiful pool, and the bed is super comfortable. I felt pampered by the service and kindness of Bai and Ling. The food is excellent too.

My stay was disappointing. The room was very hot when I arrived and remained uncomfortable, definitely not ideal in warm weather. The surroundings and ventilation need improvement. The toilet was dirty, and the sliding door did not close properly it hung awkwardly over the rim. I have to do it myself to make it inside the rim so it can slide better. Breakfast was okay only and not attractive. They mentioned a tablet would be provided, but it wasn’t. Also, no one answered the contact number for inquiries. I expected much better for the price. Overall, this place is only for Instagrammable.

I booked two rooms, one mangrove view and one garden view. The front desk upgraded both to mangrove view for free, and the service was excellent with smiles all around. The breakfast food was more suited for a foreign palate! Overall, it was really great, the environment was lovely and very relaxing. 👍

fantastic room, easy checkin procedure, friendly hotel workers and hosekeeping unit cooperate well when needed.. overall, it worth my money.. will repeat my staycation here again..

Booked the double deluxe room. Had 2 issues 1. The water temperature is not stable. You'll get warm/hot water for a solid 5 min then it’ll be cold. 2. My room had a window in the toilet where the sun shines through so bright early in the morning, should add in a blind or something there to block them. Breakfast was okay but for the prices of the rooms, could be improve a lot more. Other than that my experience was great. Extended my stay up till 3pm and that cost MYR200 just to get a bit more rest. Would recommend for the comfy bed but get breakfast elsewhere for sure.

It was a beautiful experience. Our stay in Pullman Kuching is fun. The room is so comfortable and clean. We were surprised because my requests were granted and we were able to celebrate a late birthday celebration for my cousin. Also, the city view from our room is so beautiful and we can see the sunrise. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great location and views! The room was a bit dated though. The air conditioner's outdoor unit was right on the balcony, which was handy for drying clothes, but it made a bit of noise at night. There were no complimentary toothbrushes, but you could get two for free at the front desk. The phone was broken, and the towels were a brownish-red color, so it was hard to tell if they were clean or dirty.

The location is one of the major highlights — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, local eateries, and popular attractions like Carpenter Street and the Main Bazaar. This made exploring the city on foot very easy and convenient. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony offering scenic views of the Sarawak River. It is ideal for families, couples, or longer stays. Cleanliness was good, and the basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and air-conditioning were provided. However, the air-conditioning in Room 2 was leaking, so we did not use it throughout our stay. As a result, the room felt slightly warm during sleep. One of the highlights of the unit is the balcony view, especially in the evening, which creates a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river and city lights. Facilities such as the swimming pool and parking were also appreciated. Overall, Riverbank Suites Unit 408 is a well-located and comfortable accommodation with great views. With minor maintenance improvements, it would be an even better place to stay in Kuching.
