Pine View Resort

Small hotel situted in best area of gulmarg,staff are polite,very less option of stay in gulmarg among those it stands tall,you can hve all basic amneties but due to limited *** power you wont be provided butter toast during dinner time.not value for money charge shld b in downward side

Couple safety rises hotel is good is palace is good also safety and couple and family full enjoy this hotel in ambience and locations and weathers is good staff is good food and good and respect all staff service and management and also is honour this good this palace is very very beautiful so everything is nice

The staff is very nice ,polite and helpful . Food is good . Heated blanket and room heater all made the place very cost and comfortable . Aashiq one of the staff working made our stay very comfort table ensuring we get what we want . Will suggest the place to others those who are looking for a reasonable stay yet warm hospitality .

****Note**** staff is very good but Hotel is worst.. not a good property to stay for families. It’s shady place and seems to be very very old property. It is surrounded by taxi stand and horses. It spoil overall experience. Existing reviews are over rated or might be false. It’s not a good property to stay with family. We cancelled our booking on same day and moved to other property, though the staff is very good and polite..

I booked online with all meals, it was very costly deal considering room and food. There are not much options available in Gulmarg as people prefer to visit and return to Srinagar. Location is convenient, 1.2 kms from Gondola entry and near main parking and market. Centralized heater was not working but they had small room heater with electric blankets. Room size is bit small for family. Gyser is there for hot water. Restaurant seems good and newly renovated on first floor. Buffet had one chicken masala, one paneer dish, salad, sweet kheer, roti, rice and dal. They offered welcome drink Kashmiri Kawa. We kept bags in hotel at 9 am and went to Gondoa ride and checked in at 2 pm. Nothing much to do after Gondola ride and 2nd phase was also closed due to bad weather. We simply watched TV, had good sleep and moved to Pahalgam. One suggestion that light is very dark and colourful inside room, literally we switched on mobile torch to see in bag, there must be bright light in room. Washroom was not much clean, my kids were not going in washroom and not willing to take bath also and it was the highest rate i paid out of 7 hotels in Srinagar, Sonmarg, Pahalgam, Gulmarg.

Save yourself the trauma of staying at this unhygienic place - any person having any standard of living can not survive in this hotel. The moment we entered , I requested the manager for a refund as the place was not liveable, but the person was rude enough to say that we can leave without a refund .The washrooms were so tiny and dirty , the door of the washroom could not be closed. We decided not to poop or take a bath as it was simply impossible to bear it. I was so upset that despite it being the first day of the trip, I was ok to leave for Delhi the same day. The staff is really wierd, they don't want to help or guide in any way- they say they don't know to simple question like how to reach the Gandola or how much is the general cost of a guide/ cab for gandola. Why would a person stay in a dirty place with useless staff ? So if you have any standard of living, kindly avoid this place

Kudos to The Three Musketeers of Pine View Resort; Gulmarg. These three guys are always ready to help the guests with some extra smile on face..... Ashaq, Ishfaq and Tanveer you rock !!! It is not that easy to run the show in tough conditions (-9 degree temp outside with chilly wind is not that common for most of the visitors in Gulmarg during winter seasons) but these three guys were dedicated to help us during our stay at Gulmarg. And if you've already visited Kashmir once then you've experienced that it is bakhsish (tips) that plays the major role to get the job done (even for incomplete tasks) .... but I do not hesitate to say they are not doing it for tips !!! They'll never ask for tips or request you to increase the amount ! We really appreciate Ashaq, Ishfaq and Tanveer for their friendliness and helping nature - a true oasis in a tout dominated place like Gulmarg. The Pine View is a very comfortable and cosy place in Gulmarg - centrally located hotel with a superb open view and they provide very tasty food. I must mention their heating system .... it is just awesome !! Central heating system, hot air blower , electric blanket on bed, hot water in toilet what else we could expect ! Ohhhh.... yes, free wifi is not super-fast but we could survive. If the owner of the hotel is reading this review, I'll request him to evaluate couple of things for improvement (yes I am a happy customer but there is scope of improvement): bathroom fittings (some regular maintenance) , breakfast menu and wifi speed. I'm not saying these are not up to the mark but considering the room tariff, some close monitoring on these small items would be just great ! Overall : If I get another chance to stay at Gulmarg I'll definitely select Pine View once again.

Very nice place. Service was so good. Specially Mr. Tanveer is very friendly and helpful.. Love the place❤️❤️ View from resort is very very beautiful. Room r very net and clean. Foods are good also…..

Hotel service was really good including food.The location was superb and Mr Ashis and Tanveer were really good hosts and helpful staffs and the food prepared here were delicious.I would want to visit again.
