Aparthotel Allada

The place was great. FYI: It's a one-room (not bedroom) apartment with everything needed in an apartment to cook - I would think great for an extended stay for a couple or small family with the playground literally right outside the front door. The guy at the front desk was super-professional. The only trick to to this place was the €350 deposit which Trip.com doesn't cover - they do warn you about it in the fine print if you are diligent enough to read it, which I wasn't 😥. So, I had to go to the ATM, pull out €350 in cash to give to them which they won't return in cash. They will do an international bank transfer which can be a bit tricky if you don't do many of those. The guy at the desk was apologetic & said he wished it wasn't company policy & now I know why! I have had to go back and forth with their accounting & my bank trying to figure out how to do international bank transfers & I still don't have my €350 in my bank account in Texas now almost a month later.

Nice location

I know it wasn’t stated on the website, but on our day of arrival we were expecting a kitchen with a stove or maybe a baking oven. With just a microwave, toaster and water boiler you can’t really prepare any meal. Also do I think that it would be a good idea to offer maybe a sponge, some dish soap or at least tabs for the dishwasher, otherwise I don’t know why there would be a machine like this after all. And my last suggestion would be to offer some basic spices like salt and pepper. They last long and are essential for every meal. Other than that I liked the apartment, loved where it was located and felt comfortable and safe. Also the check-in/ and -out were really easy and the people at the desk were always nice and friendly. Leaving your luggage at the apartment for some time after the check-out was also no problem.

Great location, steps away from many restaurants and shops, can be a bit noisy overnight on the weekends but to be expected in such a busy area!

We had a great stay and everything was perfect except one thing- when we checked out we were charged 27.5 EURO for not having emptied the trash bin upon checkout. We were instructed where to take out our trash during our stay as we did a number of times over the 10 nights there. I just wish it was made clearer that there's a fee if the trash bin isn't empty at checkout... Otherwise the hotel was great. There was even a washer and dryer on the top floor that they let us use.

Apartment Allada was great and had all of the amenities needed for our stay. Great location, very clean and quiet at night. Mauro was so helpful when checking in and we were able to leave our luggage there prior to our room being available that afternoon. He was very friendly and reserved a taxi for our morning departure.
