Super 8 by Wyndham Caraquet

The bedroom has a privacy door. When I closed it I could not get it to open, the door handle did not work, so I was stuck inside the bedroom and could not get out. I mentioned it to the front desk. They didn’t seem too concerned

The hotel is right on the ocean front. Rooms are adequate and very clean. Staff were friendly, although they did not respond to our request for assistance with the tv. I would suggest that they add more power and spots to charge devices in the rooms. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and will return in the spring when we visit family.

Lovely hotel, beautifully situated on the water. No complaints. Room was clean and comfortable.

The property was old. The pool is mostly shallow but my daughter loved the water slide. The view from our balcony was beautiful however the flooring for our balcony was plywood. We had a suite with king bed and sofa bed for my daughter. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Luckily I had brought my daughter’s favourite blanket so I took blanket they provided and placed it under the sheet to soften her bed a bit. Main bed was not overly comfortable either and air conditioning made bedroom cool but did not get to the room with the sofa bed. Breakfast was ok. Cereals, packaged muffins, packaged waffles and a bit of other options. Staff was friendly though. And we forgot something in our room and they happily mailed it to us. Hotel needs some updating but all in all it was ok. Nice park for kids next to hotel. And again view was amazing. Nice to walk around area.

This was a nice place to stay while traveling through. We didn't find much to do in the Caraquet area but the stay was OK.

Rooms are supposed to be non-smoking. When I went into the room, there was a distinctly overpowering smell that someone had smoked in there. I asked for another room which Management did after they checked it out. The smell was so strong, it stayed with me for longer than imagined. I believe I should be compensated for the inexcusable experience.

Loved our stay, the beds we’re comfy. The pool is on the smaller side, but still had a nice stay. The views outside is gorgeous, the ocean in is the backyard. Really clean property!

Wonderful hotel, one of the comfiest beds I've ever stayed in! I love the free perks with the gold member status, I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Freddy.

The location was super! Recommend more than one bag cart. Only one was available and guest were impatiently waiting to use it
