My husband and I stayed at Zenith Premiere Hotel Baubau for a week. We enjoyed the good food, the wifi, and our room which was immaculately cleaned each morning. The staff members, from housekeeping, to the servers in the breakfast room and the lunch room, to the receptionists at the front desk, to the Manager, were there for us with a smile. But it was on the morning of our departure to the airport that a mishap occurred. We were stood up by the taxi driver who was referred to us by the front desk, and whom I had called the evening prior to confirm that we needed to be picked up at the hotel at 4.30 am the following day. The taxi driver never showed up. We were saved by another taxi driver from an online taxi service who agreed to be there in 10 minutes to pick us up. Long story short, we made it to the airport in the nick of time. In gratitude, I gave our angel sent from heaven one of the boxed breakfasts that had been given to us by the hotel. It is unfortunate that Zenith does not offer airport shuttle to its guests, even in an emergency such as the above. We made it to the airport, but others may not be so lucky.
