I've been staying at this hotel regularly for over ten years. The main advantage of this hotel is the staff, who never change. So, all regular guests here become part of the family. This time I was here for my birthday, and it was so nice to receive the warmest congratulations from everyone! The hotel is impeccable. The only downside is that the breakfast food, which should be hot, is completely cold.

I am super happy with literally everything. I would definitely book again. The apartment was super clean, spacious and comfortable. I felt safe and the service of Aya (receptionist) was outstanding.

The staff was very friendly and check-in was quick. The room was a bit small, but it was fully equipped. There were paid spa services and a swimming pool. The breakfast was very, very generous. The surrounding area is very nice, with many restaurants. There's even a Chinese restaurant nearby. But the worst part was that the room had a strong, toilet-like odor. It was really unpleasant.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough, location , staff and service was amazing. It is abit on a hill, but this didn’t bother me at all. I had the breakfast included and was so pleased, so much to choose from! Staff were super friendly and room was cleaned daily. I did not have the sea view but had a lovely view of palm trees from my room which always had a nice breeze coming. Loved every bit and will most likely stay here again when I visit Salou. Thanks for amazing service 4R Playa Park Hotel.

Aparthotel Cye Holiday Centre

On arrival the holiday centre was as photographed on the website, fresh, bright, airy and modernised. Apartments are spacious with 2 wide single beds pushed together in the main room which leads off on to an exceptionally generous size balcony. Plenty of room for kids to play, loungers and table and chairs etc. the bed in the hallway (pull down from wall) was comfy and great for my 9 year old son. The livingroom couches were also single beds and of good quality and wide enough, seem some very slim, thin ones before - these were very comfy although never slept in by us as my daughter had a cot.  Check in and out was seamless but be aware a deposit is taken (around £10 per night and given back at end of apartment is left satisfactory) so factor this in to your spends needed initially.  The thing that stood out for us as a family was the lovely man and his assistants who ran the kids club, entertainment, pool games and really engaged with the children despite his obviously long days. They are a credit to the hotel and I don’t think it would attract as many families if this small but important team weren’t on board - my son Jacob loved kids club and made some great friends for the week. Now is still recommend this hotel with given some recommendations to change things. The hotel caters to very large, roudy crowds of preteens/teens on school holiday stays. They are chaotic and woke our toddler several times, running through corridors screaming, taking up lift where pushchairs and wheelchair users should have priority and teens/groups managed more carefully as they would be if from anywhere else. Called to reception to complain and inform but was pretty much brushed off as they’re excited. Just not great for the rest of us also wanting to enjoy our apartment, sleep and have children. We waited an incredibly long time with 20-30 teens in front of us. I called down to reception one evening as they were shouting, banging and screaming in the halls. Some hotels do not cater to exceptionally large groups for this reason, especially when catering to family holidays also - I’d only stay again if I knew there was no large groups such as this booked to stay. We only ate breakfast the last morning as we preferred to go out to dinners etc as a social thing in the evenings with the children as we don’t drink alcohol much when have young children with us. Food was as expected in hotels, nothing bad to note and plenty of options which are the norm.  If you like quiet this hotel might not be for you. Po. Kew is loud due to entertainment although this didn’t bother us with it stopping at 11pm but the ‘quieter’ side facing out to the road/side was filled with already mentioned large groups of teens shouting back and forth to each other continually. Highly recommend checking if these school trips are on when booking if you like a quiet, relaxed family holiday (most of us do when we have young children). All in all the hotel is great location, good sized rooms and entertainment for much younger children but would be put off returning due to the issues mentioned.

The very nice and comfortable rooms, the hotel was fine, some roommates more nice than others but the food from the restaurant frozen and quite bad for what they charge you, except you ask Coca Cola or Fanta and bring you the drink already served The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The buffet was only breakfast and a little small, besides having to make enough row to get in because the dining room is not big enough to cover so many people. The pool is fine, but there is no kind of organization with the hams, each puts it where it wants when it wants and it is a little disaster.

Before we went, we didn't expect it to be so crowded. It felt like everyone in Europe had flocked to PortAventura. The hotel included free tickets to PortAventura and Ferrari World, and the price included breakfast and dinner, making it a great value. The hotel is like a resort, scattered around the lobby, offering quite a bit of privacy. There are two large, shallow pools, perfect for the kids to play in. We drank at the adjacent restaurant and bar. The first floor room was the best, with a small terrace right out the door and close to the pool. We stayed there for two nights and it was quite nice. The hotel is a little far from the park, but we found a small path that led us there. The park is huge, with lots of rides and a fun roller coaster, but it can be a bit crowded. The park doesn't provide any bottled water, and we couldn't drink their tap water. The water in Europe is very hard, and a 330ml bottle of water cost 3 euros, which is quite expensive. Check-in is until 3 p.m., and there's no free luggage storage; you have to pay for your own luggage.

overall good experience but some things could have been better english breakfast was abismal worst i have had in 20 years of staying in salou hotels they need to get a chef who knows how to cook a fried egg and sorce some english bacon they were cold and hard the yolks were solid like they had been sitting in the kitchen for 30 mins before they brought them out lunch and dinner were ok however had to pay for water and soft drinks not something i have come across before and place was overrun with school kids at meal times not a plesent experience room was ok but locking the fridge thats a new one on me car parking was an extra of cource and vastly overpriced at 20 euro a day half that at 4r hotels also you couldnt use the lift to the parking you had to get out at reception and get a key or use the stairs again a pain the hotel was clean and reasonably quiet exept the resturant but definatly geared up to charge extra wherever it could would i stay there again probably not and thats just down to crapp breakfast and little things like chargeing you to use the fridge safe and rip off car parking
