"We booked a room with a balcony, but they placed us in a room without a balcony with the sentence "Roberto has placed you in a more expensive room." Only after the second attempt, we get the room we reserved. How can a more expensive room without a balcony (with the same contents) be more expensive than a room with a balcony? Everything in the toilet is rusted, the dirt from the shower has fallen apart. Staff very gloomy!"

"We loved the staff and the resort - it felt like a real community - everyone was so friendly and helpful. The kite surfing Instructors, David and Michele were absolutely amazing and made a huge effort to help us get from absolute beginners to actually catching some good rides at the end of our stay. Before we booked this trip, we were looking for the best place to learn to kite surf in Europe. After being here, we can report that this resort on the lagoon was a perfect place to learn with its shallow warm water, situated between the mainland and a long island, and blessed with a good wind most of the time. On the days when it was less windy, we also had a great time touring around the area and visiting Aegadian Islands."

"Our family in Marsala recommended the Best Western Hotel Stella d'Italia to us on our visit. At the last minute, we called and they were more than happy to accommodate us. We were totally surprised how beautiful this hotel is, its marble staircases, beautiful art work & fast elevators. We had the king room. It was a very clean, comfortable, large room with a partial view of the square. The bed & pillows were great! The bathroom is modern and large. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we ever had, they even had fresh cannoli's every morning, fresh hot foods, cold cuts and everything you can imagine. The breakfast room is bright and airy & the staff was very polite. The reception staff was helpful, offering assistances for us around Marsala. The hotel is right next to the square, which made it very quiet, and yet close to all the beauty of the Marsala square; restaurants, shoppes and the most beautiful cathedral. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again."

"Charming hotel close to the historic center. Parking can be done slightly outside of the historic center which means you need to drag your luggage about 8 mins to the hotel. There is a lift which makes moving in and out a breeze."
