First morning, still half asleep, stepped out onto the balcony and the bay was just right there. Neither of us wanted to leave. The staff remember things. Not in a trained way. They actually remember what you said yesterday and bring it up today. That’s different. For breakfast, sharing one portion between two people is more than enough. You can add a smoothie or a coffee alongside it. After days of heavy food, an easy plant-based breakfast is exactly what you want in the morning. It felt like a reset. The room is clean and comfortable. We spent time in the hanging chair, we didn’t want to get out of bed, the TV is big and the picture quality is good. We genuinely had to push ourselves to go outside. Piece of Sky at night: good cocktails, the bay lit up below, live saxophone. I don’t know where else in El Nido you get all of that at once. That’s the stay. Worth it.”"

"”After more than thirty years of travelling, you know what actually makes a hotel good. It comes down to whether anyone is really listening. The staff at Z Garden were listening. When we arrived Lena’s foot was bothering her. They asked what was going on, then recommended a few spots that would suit her better and suggested which activities to avoid. That one response changed the mood of the whole day. And the hotel being so close to the water meant retirement travel didn’t cost us unnecessary energy getting anywhere. We’ll come back to Z Garden.”"

From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. TThat girl abroadI was honestly a bit disappointed with this resort. When you see the word “resort” and pay resort prices, you expect a certain standard. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to that. The bed only had a thin sheet with no proper bedding, there was no water provided in the room, and parts of the property felt quite run down with visible rust. The bathroom, especially the shower area, could really use a deep clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. There were four different WiFi networks, but none of them worked properly and the connection was very slow. The staff did warn me about this in advance. That being said, the staff were absolutely amazing. Reception went above and beyond by helping with my large bags, doing my laundry, organizing tours and transport, and assisting with everything I needed. Truly a chef’s kiss to the team. They were the highlight of my stay. With some upgrades and better maintenance, this place could match the price they’re charging. Right now, it’s the staff that make the experience worthwhile.

GGuest UserThe 8-room hotel is located on the main route in El Nido. The rooms are normal in size, some things require repair, we, for example, the door to the bath opened with great effort and one day the door lock broke. The air conditioner and fan work well. Hot water from solar cells, then good, then barely. Nearby the Italian restaurant, shops, pharmacy, exchanger, direct pass to the beach (the beach itself is not very, either very small, or in the tide of the beach sand strip at all). There is a kitchen downstairs, but it is for staff, probably we wanted to cook shrimp, we took 100 peso for it. The refrigerator can be used for free. And the biggest minus: frames in windows are metallic, hearing 100%, windows go out to the chicken! That means you will listen to the singing of the chickens and the quawhtling of the chickens from three in the morning to six in the evening, without stopping. If you have a sensitive sleep, choose another hotel. Without exaggeration, it is simply impossible to sleep normally.

OOlga IvanovnaWe booked a standard room, they gave us room 6, but it was very small, without a window and a wardrobe. It was very stuffy and there was an unpleasant smell. The air conditioner was noisy. The floor was very dirty, covered in sand. Since we arrived at night, we spent the night in that room. In the morning we asked to change the room. They showed us the rooms, we chose a room with a balcony, a suite, a sea view, but we had to pay extra. We stayed for 4 days, so we agreed to pay extra. The room was cleaned poorly, only once, although we asked for it to be cleaned. They put water in the room upon arrival, they did not put it anymore, also shampoo, soap, brushes were put only once upon arrival. The towels were not changed even once. Breakfasts from the menu, very meager, the same thing every day. In the dining room there is a cooler with hot and cold water, you can pour tea in the evening. The room service is terrible. The hotel is for a stay of 1, 2 days. But the cost is expensive for such a hotel. I do not recommend it for a long time. The view from the window is beautiful. The port is close.
