The only drawback is that the prices in the ancient town are high. I had the most expensive breakfast, ordinary fried dough sticks and soy milk for 4 people, which cost 120 yuan. The various local specialties are also 2-3 times that of ordinary areas. It would be more perfect if the parking lot could be closer to the residential area.

First of all, it must be stated that this is not an accommodation in the Gubei Water Town scenic area, so you need to buy an additional ticket to enter the scenic area or the Great Wall. This is only at the entrance of the scenic area. As a foreign tourist, I can say that I have never experienced such a bad check-in experience. According to the check-in time, I wanted to check in, but there was not only no counter, but even people didn't know where to find it. I found that there was a "Fairy Tale Supermarket" owned by them. When we told them that we wanted to check in, they didn't seem to understand, and later they contacted someone to take us to check in. Our group of 20 people stayed in 5 different houses. Basically, the hygiene of each room was not satisfactory, and there were many insects. In some rooms, the balcony door locks were broken and not repaired, and some did not even have a wardrobe or a place to hang clothes. Some places were already full of dust, especially the dishes and kitchen utensils in the kitchen cabinets were placed randomly. Even if they were not used, they felt uncomfortable. The most unacceptable thing is that they do not provide mineral water. We were forced to buy it in their supermarket, and a bottle of 4L mineral water was sold to us for 16 yuan. Their entire supermarket was full of mineral water. It feels like this is how they cheat tourists to make money. Some rooms don't even have cups. Let alone any services, after checking in, I don't know where to find the person in charge. There is a device for calling service in the room, but there is no response when I press it. Fortunately, I only stayed for one night, it's really unbearable. The experience of Gubei Water Town Scenic Area is very good, but this accommodation is really a thunderbolt. If you want to experience the best Gubei Water Town, you must stay in the hotel in the scenic area. Everyone avoid thunderbolts.
