Just in time for the new Christmas tree! We stayed two nights at the Waldorf and got upgraded to a suite. The early butler service communication to change the bedding really earned major points! I easily get a backache from sleeping on soft mattresses.
Even though there was a wait for breakfast, the staff were incredibly helpful, constantly monitoring table turnover and taking our orders promptly.
From the front desk to baggage handling and doormen, you could feel the genuine warmth of the service. And the hotel's location is unbeatable – perfect for a walk to the Forbidden City to see the snow.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Wangfujing. It's super convenient for shopping, sightseeing, and even getting to Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The hotel service is thoughtful and attentive, making for a great experience. A day before check-in, the hotel staff called to ask about our needs, which was a really nice touch 👍. The food from the hotel's bar and restaurant is also excellent 👍. I also really liked the hotel's artistic ambiance ❤️.

We had a truly pleasant stay at Waldorf Astoria Beijing. The service was amazing—warm, attentive, and incredibly hospitable from start to finish. Danica, who took care of us, was exceptionally friendly and always available through WeChat whenever we needed anything. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and even arranged a trip to the Great Wall. Everything was organized perfectly, and the entire experience was unforgettable. They also helped us with a late checkout, which we greatly appreciated.
