Very spacious hotel with all Amenities you would wish. Perfect for families. Large rooms with living room. Massage, game room, indoor pool… and near by all very nice beach restaurants and tapas. The hotel was very busy but the service and the cleanness was very good. Impressive how they can keep it up. Amazing breakfast. Live music at night. Perfect may vacation.

Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable beds, great balcony, hair dryer, fridge, aircon. Kettle - great we thought. But no cups, spoon, milk or water to start us off when we arrived late at night nor ever supplied. We will bring our tea bags/coffee but supply the basics please!! Restaurant meals chaotic, noisy and resembled a feeding frenzy at times. Food plentiful but often only barely warm. Lack of written info on meal times, services. Telling a group of pensioners to scan the QR code not good enough! Staff were excellent but didn't have time to communicate with guests. Sorry but we won't return.

The beds and pillows were excellent. There was a kettle in the room, but no cups! There was only one plug in point. I had a view of the car park despite paying extra for my room! The venue for the dancing (as it was a dancing hol) was dire! It was in an underground carpark, dark, no windows and the dance floor was dreadful! No outdoor seating area to sit out in the evening! Bar closed at midnight! Paid €41 for 3 brandy's at the bar! Someone later said "they saw you coming"...the seating in the lobby is so low to the ground it is dangerous! Won't be returning there!

Went with my two boys (12&9) All inclusive room 206. Generally a good stay. Rooms, shower balcony was good. Generally good choice of food and drinks at meal times and in the evening. The one thing I didn’t like was this 3 items per visit to bar. I went to the bar ordered three drinks and I wanted some crisps for the kids and was refused due to being over the 3 items. I then had to go and wait again in the queue. Bloody ridiculous sort that out immediately as I think it’s put me off coming back again. The one major thing I really disliked (not necessarily hotel fault) was the amount of trashy English/Brits in the hotel. I was embarrassed to be from UK. Some of their behaviours language around kids was just a disgrace. There was some of darts competition going on and it really tainted the stay with a bunch of old beer belly English women and women wearing stupid shirts during the week and behaving like ****** and drunk. Apart from that a good stay and a clean well kept hotel where we felt safe. Hotel also found sent back the tablet we left in the room thank you reception/housekeeping.

The website and the reviews promised so much but sadly this has to be one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The hotel itself was good and well situated for the beach. The lifts worked well and were always readily available. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful although some of the staff perhaps need some tuition in dealing with the public. We initially booked B&B but upgraded upon arrival to all inclusive but unbelievably this did not include drinks. The food was of poor qaulity and the menu was too restrictive in my opinion. Whilst at breakfast there was tea, coffee, fruit juices and water available at lunch and dinner there was absoluley nothing, not even water. I would like to know the reasoning behind this as it seems just mean and to rub it in you were asked if you wanted to purchase drinks. Not once did a member of the staff ask me was I happy and if everything ok. I have stayed at more than a few other hotels and they were far better than this one. My advice would be to think twice befor booking here and keep checking the reviews as hopfully the management might take notice and inprove things.

We’ve just checked out from the Sol Principe and have had a good stay, the rooms are comfy, the partial sea view still allows for a great view, the rooms were kept clean with fresh towels daily and soap / shampoo provided. The app/website was a nice touch making it easy to see what was on and when different bars were open etc and provided a full menu of all inclusive drinks so there’s no guesswork! You can even order stuff to your room such as ironing boards and shaving kits or toothbrushes if you forget yours which was handy! The food was also really tasty and we never went hungry with branded drinks as well, all in all it made for a really good stay. But…. Just a few things let the side down, firstly with the drinks. When you pay to go all inclusive there is a rule of 3 when it comes to drinks. 3 drinks per order, which is rather ridiculous when we came as a couple and take it in turns to go to the bar, each getting 4 drinks at a time, 2 each to maximise time on the sunbed and not getting up to go to the bar! I can also imagine this to be quite frustrating when your a family of 4 or more, having to make multiple trips. Even when the bar was quiet with no one else around some bar tenders would insist on you putting your drinks down on another table and returning to the empty bar! This rule also doesn’t apply if you are paying for drinks! So their reasoning of it being to reduce wait times at the bar seems rather ridiculous. Having paid for drinks in advance you are treated differently to those who pay for drinks as they go, with table service available for those paying but not for all inclusive guests. Our other bug bearer was sunbeds. Around the main pool there are simply not enough sun beds. And whilst there is a rule that the pool doesn’t open until 11am and gates are kept locked to stop people putting towels down, this is not enforced and everyday we came down, those staying in the family rooms who could just hop over their balcony, had already bagged the best beds. We weren’t even here during peak time, I’d hate to see what it was like during the summer holidays. The entertainment…it’s nothing to write home about, it’s great for kids but adults be prepared to bring extra spends and seek entertainment outside the hotel, unless a magic show or rendition of the greatest showman are your thing! Also to note is that regardless of what time you check in, on check out at 12 that’s it you aren’t allowed any other meals etc. even though we were willing to pay for a late check out if one had been available. We checked in at about 11pm on Tuesday due to a late flight so missed dinner despite having paid for it, and when we checked out on Sunday at 12pm we weren’t allowed dinner before we headed to the airport at 8pm. We tried to explain but there was no movement or reasoning with staff. It’s things like this that really let the side down, and make it feel more like a 3* than a 4*. We have had much better service at other 4*s. Overall we would come bac

On first appearance the hotel was lovely. But we soon found out this is NOT a 4* Arrived at 11.30 and was told we can’t check in until 3pm. A dirty thong had been left in the bathroom, reception dealt with this whilst laughing. No drinking water in the room, lamps over beds so you hit your head daily. Freezing pools, terrible entertainment and Luke warm repetitive food. No water stations, you had to pay €2.50 for water if the bar wasn’t open. Rude comments from a horrible member of the bar staff. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. However pedro senior was amazing and kind. I needed water when checking out, I took my pills and my prescription and was told to go buy a bottle. I was really upset, we will never go back to this hotel nor would we recommend it. €20 deposit per towel and €10 for the safe. Most 4* they are included. The hotel was very clean though and the housekeeping staff worked really hard.
