Helios Benidorm

Arrived as two couples in our 50's. Bit of a queue at reception on arrival but it was our turn. Our room wasn't ready as we had an early flight but the customer service provided by Eduardo was tip top. We were provided with all the relevant info, wifi codes, toilet and luggage room keys. Advised we had a room upgrade which was pleasing to hear. This hotel is spotless everywhere. Restaurant we used just for breakfasts and what a choice there was. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. The rooms are big enough, with free safe, a fridge and plenty of storage. These were the comfiest beds and pillows I have slept in at any hotel. Although quite close to the ***** there was no noise that disturbed our sleep. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. A great team and shout out again to Eduardo who always greeted us with a huge smile and a wave.

Mercedes look after us brilliantly when we had to cancel our stay at Christmas due to illness nothing was a bother for her, stayed in April and everything was faultless, brilliant staff, food was delicious, great variety all staff was very friendly, could not recommend this hotel more .

Yet again looked after as usual perfect location all staff are exceptional cannot fault this hotel one bit this is my 8th stay and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else every single member of staff look after you nothing is any trouble.

My fiance & I have stayed at this hotel since 2018 and its incredible. We are a young minded 50s couple with my fiance now disabled after stroke. the sloping gradient pool, as opposed to roman steps is easier to get in...and its heated! He is epileptic so getting into the pool is slightly worrying but the lifeguard is brilliant, always greeting us at the pool, informing us he'll be there for us if anything happens! Mercedes the manager cannot do enough for us. 10th April was our joint birthday and we had a bottle of fizz waiting in our room, just the same 2 years ago when we stayed. We usually stay in premium room but last week on our stay I asked Mercedes to show us a disabled room. She dropped everything and showed us one straight away and has already sent us a video of the newest one, giving us our options to upgrade this to premium. Mercedes has always been super approachable and there to resolve any problems immediately. The reception staff are lovely and all know us now. As for the room, its always spotless. The premium room we stay in has a huge bed and so comfortable with coffee machine. We go bed & breakfast. The breakfast is amazing with so much variety and the omelettes are cooked fresh. Coffee is the best! I look forward to returning here again this year. Its our home from home!

couldn't fault anything with this hotel - very central location but still quiet, rooms very comfortable, staff fabulous, friendly & helpful, pool area lovely, good breakfast & dinner - we really enjoyed our stay. lots of little extras like a courtesy room to shower and change on our last evening, fridge in the room for a nice cold drink on the balcony all made our stay very good value for money

Went both in May 2023 and September 2023. Both times the hotel was amazing. Friendly, in a great place and always nice and clean. Drinks were cheap around the pool and breakfast was amazingly delicious. Staff were friendly throughout and always wanted a chat. Always willing to help when needed. Evening entertainment was great. Nice lighthearted and was a nice vibe. Played cards and uno while listening to music and drinks being brought over. The only thing I’d say was the sun beds are not made for big people. Struggled sometimes to get on them without breaking as the plastic was flimsy. It was the only thing I’d change about the place.

Friendly and quick check in with Angela. Our room was ready which was great as we were on an early flight. Pool view room on 7th floor, very spacious, clean. Bed & pillows were so comfy - best sleep ever had on holiday. Plenty of hangers and storage. Nice bathroom with good shower and hair dryer. Room made up every day and clean towels. Nice balcony which had the sun on it later in the afternoon. Free safe, wifi was good in the room. No kettle but you can hire from reception. Pool towels were available from reception for €10 deposit per towel and you could change them every day and got your deposit back when you gave back. The pool opened at 10am but there was no rush for beds and the pool life guards did a great job putting extra beds out for people. We were room only so can’t comment on the food. Hotel was spotless in all the public areas and staff were friendly. The location is spot on, so glad we chose to stay here. Hopefully see you again later in the year. Travelled as a group of 11 friends. This was our third visit to the Helios and it won’t be our last. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the facilities are great. Standard rooms have everything you need and the beds are super comfortable. We used the gym and the spa this time, and both were excellent. Breakfast is superb - including the Prosecco! Service from all staff was excellent; special mention for Angela on reception who was super helpful. Location is great - close enough to the action but no noise at all at night. There is a huge market twice a week just behind the hotel, and it’s a 10 minute walk to the beach. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Benidorm.

Stayed here for my 50th birthday with 5 girls. Hotel is lovely & modern rooms are spacious. Staff very friendly was given a bottle of bubbly and macaroons for my birthday. Buffet breakfast was plentiful, lots of variety. Location was excellent close to the action but not disturbed by the noise. Would definitely stay here again.
