Holiday Inn Express & Suites Albuquerque East

The staff were professional and friendly here. We booked a standard with a king-sized bed.The room at this branch - Albuquerque East did not a funky smell and was clean & had international plugs which was nice. The front desk and everyone was helpful. The breakfast food and staff were all helpful and friendly. Bonus: Our room had a really nice view of the moutains as well. Had a totally different experience at Holiday Inn Houston East-Channelview. The staff were not friendly and were not helpful either (save for the Bengali lady who was probably the front desk manager). The room had a weird smell. The hotel food at the restaurant was so salty. The breakfast was ok and location was ok. That was only the plus for Houston East Channelview branch.

Relatively quiet. Convenient. Check in was friendly. We appreciated some frozen dinner entree options as we were too tired to go out to eat. Very clean.

Pros: Room was well maintained, clean, and quiet. They actually locked the parking gate this time so that was a relief. Cons: Only issue this stay were the two elevators were out of service. Overall, plan to stay here again!

Room was very big and they had plenty of pillows for us. Great one night stay , Breakfast was nice but pancake makers was not working on our visit but loved that it opened right at 6 am

Super clean and the beds were super comfortable! We enjoyed the indoor pool and the gym as well. Location was perfect, right off the freeway, loads of restaurants, walmart and other things nearby. Great one-night stay!

Beautiful, clean, & comfy hotel…New Bathroom shower in best condition of those we’ve had on multiple trips this fall. REAL nice soft toilet paper, not the horrible thin scratchy PAPER most offer. Nice hot tub & pool. Good breakfast. Only negative— elevators were not functioning properly or consistently…sounded horrible & long delays. They were working on them supposedly, but we ended up taking the stairs several times.

The stay at this Holiday Inn express was a nigh**are. We arrived at 11 PM after 11 hours of driving to be told they could not find our reservation which had been booked through *******. I had the confirmation on my phone however, it was still not able to be found. We ended up paying for the nights stay in addition to paying *******. The next morning when I tried to work it out with the manager I was told they could not issue a refund. I was given the name and phone number of someone named Rachel, the Director of operations. I tried the number several times. There is no one named Rachel at that number. When I tried to explain this to the manager at the Holiday Inn express, she would not come out of her office to speak to me and left it up to her front desk attendant to tell me to just keep trying. Needless to say, I will not ever be staying in a Holiday Inn express or booking with ******* ever again. I do not recommend this experience to anyone.
