Absolutely wonderful. It’s hard to add anything to what previous reviews have already said. Gorgeous property in lovely location. The Sleigh Room is even better than the photos suggest. Biscuits and fresh milk replenished daily! Super breakfast prepared and served by the amazing Vida includes fresh fruit and berries; home made jams and local honey! Nothing was too much trouble with helpful local information provided even before we arrived. One warning - don’t follow your SatNav! It will take you along incredibly narrow lanes for miles! Ask Vida for the sensible instructions before you travel - it adds a couple of miles, but well worth it. We shall definitely stay again.

Beautiful rustic place. Bedroom was a lovely size and the hostess put on a lovely breakfast spread, as well as being very engaging to talk to and extremely helpful in suggestions of what to see and do.

We had one of our best experiences ever at the old Vicarage! We went there on our honeymoon and wanted that perfect British countryside feeling - and that is exactly what we got! The house and the village is stunning, but what surprised us the most was the wonderful service from Vida. To be served breakfast every morning by her was our highlight. And the company from Molly (golden retriever) only made things even more perfect for us.
We can warmly recommend this place if you want a beautiful environment and great service and privacy.

We’ve just spent a weekend here for our wedding anniversary, and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. The building and the grounds are gorgeous, and our room (Sleigh Room) was superbly appointed, including a shower I didn’t want to get out of. The views are beautiful, and it’s very peaceful. We even had Prosecco & a hand-written card to greet us and wish us a happy anniversary. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and local, and Vida (the owner) was more than helpful. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic find. Amazing B&B, really nice room, with fantastic views over the countryside. Vida, the owner, was really attentive and so helpful. Breakfast was plenty and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. All in all, a grand experience.

We spent a month in the UK, visiting from Australia. This was our first stay and it set a very high benchmark for all our other accommodation. The suite was beautifully furnished and decorated and the bed was luxuriously comfortable. There were gorgeous views of woodlands from our room and we enjoyed walking around the area. Vida was a lovely host and we would definitely stay at The Old Vicarage again.

An absolute gem of a find in the Cotswolds. Vida has presented a beautiful stay with an even better breakfast. I'll say that dining options are a little limited in the local area, but this comes part and parcel of the remote setting. Its not an issue for someone used to a 5-10 minute drive for everything, but your average city resident may be surprised.

Our stay was simply superb. We stayed in the UK for 2.5 weeks, many of the accomodations were 5 stars but this was by far the best! The breakfast was excellent where the host even made fresh warm pastries! We loved the fresh berries, salmon, eggs etc, so many beautiful high quality choices. Vida is lovely and so thoughtful. Our room was impeccable with views and so comfortable and peaceful. The location is worth the amazing drive there, it’s really the most beautiful place. The Crown Inn pub nearby is a gorgeous old pub that has character and excellent service. Of all places in lakes district, the highlands, London, Edinburgh and York our absolute favourite is the Old Vicarage at Oakridge. Thank you for having us we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your amazing property. We hope to stay again. Susanna and Donald Leigh - Australia
