Great
DDien.Jalan2Our stay at Hotel Aziza was pleasant overall. The reception staff, especially the lady at the front desk, was very kind and went out of her way to help us get to the pharmacy and return safely — truly appreciated her assistance. The hotel staff in general were responsive and quick to attend to our requests.
The location is close to the Old City, which makes it convenient for sightseeing. However, it’s situated on a steep hill, so walking up can be quite challenging, especially after a long day.
Breakfast was simple and could be improved — the selection was limited, and the fruits were not very fresh.
Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service and a great location for exploring Sarajevo, but be prepared for the uphill walk and modest breakfast.
AAToiStayed here for one night before an early morning flight and had a really lovely stay. I honestly didn’t realize until I arrived that Hotel Baškuća had been featured in TIME’s World’s Greatest Places 2025 and National Geographic Traveller’s European Cities Collection 2025; such a nice surprise and very well deserved.
The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Baščaršija (the old bazaar), which made it very convenient for exploring Sarajevo even with a short stay. The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the amenities were all thoughtfully prepared. Everything felt well-kept and welcoming.
I had to leave very early for my flight, so unfortunately I didn’t get to try the breakfast, but I heard from others that it’s excellent.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and I’d happily recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sarajevo especially if you want somewhere comfortable, charming, and well located.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent. The breakfast lady is younger and makes a rich breakfast. She also cleans and is very attentive. The only downside is that I contacted the hotel front desk and was told they would send me to the train station, which is only 2 km away, for 30 marks. (I was worried I wouldn't be able to get a taxi if I got there early, but there were already taxis outside the hotel at 6:00.)
MMs. TRAVELLERLocation excellent
Rooms big & perfect
Big windows with excellent view
The rooms are covered with carpet
Bedsheets clean
Towels I didn’t use none so can’t say anything
Daily clean is done
Everything is around you
The best part is you have a big mall next to you & also a tram that takes you direct to the old town.
Swimming pool & spa amazing
My only concern is the breakfast time & the service that is provided Customer . Service is 0. It needs to be improved & staff need to be well trained & understand what is customer service. Otherwise its a place to be.

The breakfast offers a good variety of food,The room is clean and spacious, with plenty of space on both sides of the bed—perfect for placing chargers, phones, handbags, etc. The overall room size is generous
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the core area of the center of Sarajevo, on the edge of the main road (in fact, the main road is very small), it is very convenient to walk to the scenic spot. Because Sarajevo is very small and the road is narrow, it is not recommended to drive, walking is the most convenient way to visit. The room is small, small, but very clean and tidy, the bedding is very comfortable, the wall of the entire hotel is a Sarajevo spray plotter, very distinctive, may also be the reason for her name color inn. The room also sent free Evian glass bottled water and bedtime snacks. The details of the hotel are very good, the staff is very warm and the service is very intimate. The breakfast is very rich, and there are many varieties of meat products, fruits and dairy products. Come to Sarajevo, staying at the colorful hotel is a very good choice. Behind the hotel is its own parking lot. I don't know what's going on. We called in advance to make an appointment and arrived at the scene. We said that we could not stop. Although the staff explained to us patiently, it may be the language reason. However, the problem of free parking was finally solved smoothly through Trip .
OOutlandish ladyWe loved our two night stay at this hotel. It’s super clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a kitchenette and all necessities. Breakfast is amazing with different Bosnian dishes cooked each day and the usual breakfast items. Garage is free and best if you come by car as it’s a steep climb from the main road. Taxis are cheap and hotel does transfers for 30KM each way. Bus stop is about a 15 minute walk from hotel. Highly recommend and thank you for an amazing experience!
GGuest UserIncredible hotel with very kind and welcoming staff. Nice and large rooms with an incredible view of the forest, a very unique experience. Would like to extend a thanks to Sanin for making the best hot chocolate I've ever had, and Mladen for serving us in the three times (!!!) we used the downstairs restaurant which had probably the best pizza I've ever had. I never use the restaurant in the hotel but this was seriously exceptional and had plenty of options. I ended up ordering Pizza Trebevic twice on two separate days. The breakfast options were good too.
Special thanks also to Mellisa at the front desk who let us check out late because our flight was late in the evening and greeted us with nothing but kindness, and booked us taxis as we needed.
The only problem you might have with the hotel is that the location is high up in the mountains. Cab drivers probably won't be very pleased to take you up easily and you will feel guilty that they drove so far for you. The hotel is basically in the middle of nowhere but the hikes around the area make it worth it. On the map it looks like it is not far from the main town but it is really far compared to other options. Go to this hotel if you intend to hike often but just bear in mind that you are high up in the mountains, far away from the old town center
GGuest UserThe hotel room is very large, the breakfast is rich, the room is clean and warm, there is a balcony, you can see the beautiful mountain view through the window, it is only a few minutes from the Latin Bridge, I am very satisfied with choosing this hotel ~
KKubilay DoganHotel service was very bad. Rooms were not clean. Although We asked slippers twice, they didnt bring. There was A construction going on nearby. It was so noisy.
Absolutely awful experience – avoid at all costs!
I’ve stayed in many places before, but this was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. Some of the staff were incredibly rude and couldn’t care less about the guests. They acted like they were doing us a favor just by being there.
The bathroom, especially the toilet, was unbelievably cramped and dirty – completely unacceptable.
Honestly, this place doesn’t deserve a single star. It was a waste of money and time. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone – even walking past this hotel would ruin your day. Stay away!
The only thing I can say positive was location.
