Hotel opening Summer 2024Looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near Vancouver International Airport? Look no further than SureStay by Best Western Richmond Vancouver Airport hotel! "The housekeepers at this location steal! They not only steal, they lie when found out. I came with my dad and wanted to drop him off for an early flight before coming back to relax before checking out. I specifically told multiple receptionists that I wasn’t checking out as I left on the shuttle. When I got back, not only had they checked me out, they raided my fridge full of food I’d saved for my Ferry ride and ate everything! And since it hadn’t even been 3 hours since I saw the food, it was so obvious that they were lying when I asked where it was. The poor receptionist at least refunded the money I spent on the food but my goodness! Up till the end, the housekeeper kept lying. She even went as far as bringing me a warm bottle of Pepsi to make up for all the food she and her cohort stole, as if that did anything. I was so close to losing it at that point, but I noticed how horrified the receptionist was at the audacity and chose not to make a scene, only to get my food refunded. Some advice, do NOT put anything in your fridge unattended. 0/10 for playing in my face like that and lying."

L'Hermitage Hotel

My husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs. The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting. For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

The service was excellent, and the location is super convenient. There are tons of coffee shops near downtown, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the SkyTrain, making it really easy to get to the airport.

Stayed at the former Trump Tower in Vancouver. The location is super convenient for getting around, very close to downtown, and not a far walk to Stanley Park either! During my stay, the breakfast area was under renovation, so all meals were delivered via room service. The fully automated facilities in the room were fantastic. Overall, a really great experience!

1. The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance to attractions like the Steam Clock and Chinatown, plus you can easily walk to Costco, T&T Supermarket, and the SkyTrain station. Taxis drop you right at the hotel entrance, and it's also very close to the Hertz downtown car rental location. 2. The suite has a double sofa bed, which was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is well-equipped with basic facilities, so you can cook your own meals. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; it's very quiet. 3. The room rate included four complimentary breakfasts, which had a good variety and quality. Several floors in the hotel also provide drinking water, so you can fill your own bottles and save on buying water. 4. The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. During our stay, we accidentally broke a bottle cap, and when we informed them, they said we didn't need to pay for it. 5. The hotel is also very close to the 2026 World Cup stadium, making it an excellent choice for tourists looking to explore the city center.

Great location, just a 9-minute walk from Canada Place where the cruise ships dock. The north-facing rooms offer a peek of the ocean, while other directions have city views. The hotel is right above Burrard Station on the Expo Line, making it super convenient to get anywhere, especially the airport, with no traffic! Absolutely unbeatable!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel decor is a bit dated, but it's quite comfortable. The bedding felt like Egyptian cotton, silky and smooth! The gym, outdoor sauna, and outdoor heated pool are on the 4th floor, all with city views. It was a good experience!👍🏻

Nice hotel, good location, parking was a little cheaper than usual for Vancouver. Room was a suite, large and comfortable. TV in the bedroom was very oddly angled in a way that you couldn’t easily watch it from the bed…. Peculiar …. Recommended.

Hotel a bit outdated, soundproofing not very good. But apart from that, everything went well, location is in a safe and convenient place for public transpo. Cozy room. Only wish 2 things were available: slippers (bec the floor becomes very cold) and drinking water.

The hotel service was great, and the coffee was delicious. We stayed for 6 nights in total. I had a cup of coffee every day, but on the last day, it was just watery, I wonder why? We arrived early on check-in day, and the front desk staff, wanting us to have a comfortable stay, upgraded our room since we were staying for 5 nights. However, the toilet in the bathroom had a slight leak. We didn't switch rooms because it wasn't a major issue, and we were out all day anyway. The hotel's location is excellent; you can actually walk to most places, or take the bus or subway. There are many diverse food options nearby, including Asian and American cuisine. At night, the area downstairs is very lively with many nightclubs. The hotel room provided an umbrella, which is essential as Vancouver is a rainy city, and a safe. The bathroom and room size were both quite decent. But I wonder if booking through Trip.com means the rooms and beds would be smaller?

It's comparable to a budget hotel back home, but its strong point is the location. It's within walking distance to attractions like the Gastown Steam Clock. If you're on a short trip and not staying for long, this is a good option.
