Lugano Hotels with Breakfast

The location is fantastic, right by the train station. The lady at the front desk was warm and friendly; she checked us in early and meticulously explained the breakfast, Wi-Fi password, and how to enter after hours. The room has a small kitchen with a microwave, fridge, and various utensils, though we didn't use them – it felt very convenient for cooking. There's also a coffee machine in the room, so we enjoyed a capsule coffee every day when we returned to the hotel. Breakfast was very rich; their croissants were even better than those in German-speaking areas, and there was a huge variety of fruit – a real treat for fruit lovers! The only downside is that the bathroom has no ventilation, so you have to open the window to air it out. Also, the extra bed, once pulled out, blocks the clothes rack, and I wasn't strong enough to fold the bed away, which made hanging clothes a bit inconvenient. However, these are minor issues; everything else was great. Next time I'm in Lugano, I'll definitely stay here again, haha!

The location is good, only a five-minute walk to the lake. The hotel room is very, very small. The 13 square meters mentioned online is really not an exaggeration. But although the sparrow is small, it has all the internal organs and everything it should have. The hotel doesn't have a gym, but it does have a small swimming pool. There was a smell in the room, and I had to open the window to ventilate it all day long.

The rooms are very nice and the environment is beautiful. Sitting on the balcony of the room, listening to birds, drinking a little wine, and admiring the lights of Lugano Lake and the mountain homes on the opposite side, it is really a treat. The room is equipped with an electric kettle, shampoo, and shower gel. You need to bring your own dental appliances and slippers.

The room is unimaginably large, and it is a luxury hotel with a very high cost-effectiveness. The kitchen is fully equipped, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lunogazha Lake and mountains from the huge balcony. The endless mountains opposite are like ”planted” with houses. At night, the lights of thousands of houses are magnificent, and the green mountains, green waters, red tiles and yellow walls, the colorful and beautiful scenery is unparalleled. The breakfast on the second day was varied, colorful and delicious. We ate a lot of salmon and various fruits and vegetables, which made us like it so much that we didn't want to leave. If we hadn't booked a hotel in Lucerne on Ctrip, we would have stayed and enjoyed it. If we come again next time, we will definitely choose this one. After checking out, you can also book a hotel car to take you to the train station.

The location was strategical to say the least. Wherever you’re lean to go, I believed that I was at the epicentre of everything I wanted to go to. 🏬 I was greeted by Mattia who assisted me with all my questions with the most friendly and helpful answers I could get, including the check in. ✅ As a fist timer in Lugano he suggested me where to go for my short time stay, really appreciated! 👍 The room itself was nice and tidy, got a fifth floor level you get a nice view to mount Bré, at sunrise it’s an outstanding panorama to say the least!🗻 Amenity wise you have all what you can get and more! I mean an Iron board at your closet and a dishwasher, that’s a first! 😄 Breakfast wise could have more choices but the “cornetti” made me forget all about it!🥐 An experience worth to repeat, recommendable for single travelers! 😉

Convenient location within 10 minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal. Local bus stops just outside the train station and can get to Lugano Centro and Monte Bre easily. The hotel is located up the slope facing the train station. There's a view of the train station from our room but it's not nosiy once the wooden doors of the balcony are closed.

I stayed at Best Western Hotel Bellevue au Lac for just one night, but it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect—right by the lake with beautiful views. The food was delicious, and overall, everything exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely love to return for a longer stay next time!

Not far from the Lugano train station, there is a bus directly to the city of Lugano at the doorstep, which is quite convenient. The interior of the room is older, but it is clean and air conditioned, making it quite comfortable. Breakfast costs only 10 Swiss francs, but there are fewer choices.

Not speaking the language, we were helped with parking and other arrangements. In addition to an excellent welcome, the hotel is traditional and charming. Ideally located with breathtaking views of Lake Lugano.

Beautiful, right near the lake with a restaurant and bar. Owner is lovely and takes great pride in making sure your stay is great. Why there’s 4 stars - location is a far walk from the downtown, and there were little ants in the room. It was great for us but if you can’t handle that this wouldn’t be for you.
