Donghai Hotels with Breakfast

Newly opened, new equipment. The most praiseworthy thing is that the front desk lady is super warm and loves to laugh. Several children say that they are really happy to go to work, and give the front desk lady a big praise.

The room was incredibly clean and fresh, with no strange odors. The service was absolutely superb, from the front desk to the restaurant staff – everyone was so helpful. I loved the smart toilet, and having Xiao Ai control the lights was a cool touch. For anyone staying in Donghai, this is definitely the hotel to choose! I stayed with my child and felt completely at ease. I forgot to take pictures this time, but I'll be sure to next time I stay!

The service was so bad it didn't feel like a chain restaurant. They tried to get a membership card as soon as I walked in, saying there would be a discount for extended stays, but in the end it wasn't even as cheap as booking online. They just bundled up my laundry and put it in a bag; it was wrinkled when I took it out. The front desk said they were out of large cups of coffee and had to split it into two cups, one for me and one for her.

Free parking at the door, and not far from several crystal collections, there is a street called Oulong, about 1 km away from this, eating is very convenient. There are many small yellow cars at the door, 2.5 You can go to the pedestrian street, very convenient. So I stayed for three nights and the price was not high or low. Overall, the price is very high. I will choose to live here next time I come to Taojing. I will not comment if I don't book in the morning, because I am at 6 o'clock every day. Be sure to have breakfast next time!

When I arrived, the room was not cleaned yet, the front desk directly gave us three hot spring tickets to go to the hot spring first, and arranged a shuttle bus, which is actually only a hundred meters away. Because we had children, we were given free breakfast and hot spring tickets. Just for this service, I renewed my reservation for another night without saying a word. Beautiful hot springs and nature, but come prepared! We stayed in a luxury cabin in the Donghai Hot Spring Resort. Overall, we had a nice experience, but there are a few important things international travelers should know. The Positives: Hot Springs & Nature: The hot springs were wonderful and very relaxing. The nature surrounding the resort is beautiful and peaceful. Great BBQ: We really enjoyed the barbecue area and even grilled some delicious shashlik (skewers) there. Helpful Staff: The girls at the reception were very kind. They helped us book a taxi to Donghai Railway Station for 100 RMB. Upon check-out, they also gave us a lovely Lianyungang souvenir magnet, which was a very sweet touch. Things to Consider: Room Outlets: There are no European-style power outlets in the cabins. We asked the reception for an adapter, but they didn’t have any. Luckily, we had our own power banks, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to charge our devices. Bring your own Chinese plug adapter! There is a possibility to rent a power bank in main building though for 5 RMB/hour. Breakfast: The breakfast is purely Chinese style. Do not expect Western options. We had noodles, seaweed, eggs, fruit, and Coca-Cola. It was fine for us, but good to keep in mind. Location: The resort is quite isolated. If you do not have a car, it is very difficult to leave the property or get around on your own. We enjoyed the hot springs and the peaceful vibe, but the resort could improve by providing international adapters for foreign guests.

The hotel is in a good location. It is in the center of the county. It is surrounded by complete facilities and has a lot of food. There is a pedestrian street not far away, where you can eat, drink and shop. It is also very popular. The front desk is very considerate. I have always liked Jinjiang Star. It is the best value for money.
