"The owner was incredibly nice, rushing to greet us and serve us!
We stayed on the second and third floors, and they carried our luggage up there. They recommended delicious food and kept us warm. They even gave us a fridge magnet when we left! A must-stay when visiting Labrang Monastery! Clean and tidy! And so welcoming!"

GGuest User💯 Highly recommended! Shout it out loud!!! If you're hesitating after seeing the reviews, don't hesitate, you absolutely must choose this place! It's a family-run Tibetan-style guesthouse—high-class, Zen-like, clean, and hygienic! The bath towels were soft and fluffy, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, and the bedding was of high quality, making for a very comfortable sleep. The white areas on the duvet cover and pillows had subtle patterns, a subtle yet detailed touch. The entire environment was thoughtfully designed and had a great feel, perhaps related to the fact that one of the family members is a monk. 👍🏻 There were even ******* script books by the bedside for guests to read, which was wonderful. Breakfast and dinner portions were generous. The food just placed on the table wasn't all served yet, so don't worry! Dinner includes delicious yak yogurt with white or brown sugar, and breakfast includes barley flour, milk, butter tea, tsampa, eggs, cherry tomatoes, and flatbread – all very tasty. The shop also offers ******* clothing experiences, and you can make ******* incense and experience making tsampa. The owners are a young, energetic family of brothers and sisters who have already opened three shops – very capable! Wishing them continued success. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserIt was my first time to experience ******* houses. It was quite special. Their house was very big. The biggest highlight was that there was a large public area on the second floor where you could drink tea and chat, and children could walk around and play. The boss was very nice, and there were also breakfast drinks. The room was all wooden, and I personally was not used to the smell. I chose a private bathroom, but the room was very small. The one in the picture without a bathroom was very large. It depends on your personal preference.
GGuest UserIt is in the alley next to the White Pagoda, very close to Labrang Monastery. We booked this oldest restaurant, with a simple ******* style and a relatively small space, especially the bathroom. It was still cold at night in August with the air conditioner turned on. Although the hardware is a bit inferior, the service is better. The housekeeper boy and girl are very enthusiastic. They went to the parking lot of the tourist service center to pick us up and help with the luggage. There is also a free yak hot pot. Adults and children are very satisfied. The two cats in the yard are also very cute.
TTracey’sBest hotel I’ve stayed in on my trip. The family made me feel so welcome. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Lots of hot water. Food was great. They gave me a bike to cycle to the grasslands and did my washing for free! Also dropped me at the bus station. So kind and lovely. And the owner speaks perfect English.
GGuest UserDuring the peak tourist season, I found a beautiful scenery on the Sangke grassland and enjoyed the holiday in a relatively quiet place. I was very happy. The boss was warm and humorous, and the friends were a little anti-responsive. The boss helped us carry our luggage, and set off fireworks to help us, adding a touch of color to our trip. Most regrettable, there was no close contact with groundhogs.
GGuest UserNirvana resorts location is so stunning, set in the beautiful grasslands and surrounded by mountains, it was truly stunning. The tent was huge and bed comfy - some things are basic such as toilet and shower offsite but you know this going in. It was great to meet and talk to Wandhikhar, and all his staff who were lovely and helpful.
SSusan LouiseVery nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay.
The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks.
GGuest UserThe room has ******* characteristics, there are scenic spots just outside the door, and there are several authentic ******* restaurants around. The hotel is cheap and cost-effective. The staff are very kind. The only drawback is that the water is not hot enough.
NNikoas4The hotel is extremely close to the monastery. Some people at the reception speak english and they can book you a private tour to visit the grasslands and the monasteries outside the city that otherwise would be unreacheables for 400rmb per vehicle. The room is big and the beds are warm.
