"This guesthouse is very near Labrang Monastery, within 5 mins walking. It stands in a small street next to the Xia river. There're many restaurants around, both western and local food. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Our room was on the second floor and they helped us to lift our luggage upstairs. Downstairs is a restaurant you can enjoy easy meal and good coffee/tea. The decoration is nice. The house is bright and the air flow is great. There're spots both upstairs and downstairs to sit to relax. And if you add their WeChat they would answer every question quickly. The bus station is around 1.5 km away. You can walk easily there and with taxi it costs only 2 yuan per person."

We were so touched by their attentive service that we even invited them to camp in their home! The owner is a Thangka artist, and even taught children about Thangka art in the mornings! AAnonymous UserThe service was so warm. They even presented us with Hada after we arrived. We were the only family staying in the hotel during the off-season in winter, but the service was not slack at all. The boss turned on the heating in our room in advance and prepared fresh yak yogurt, snacks and many other things. He really cared about us. I originally wanted to eat in the county town, but I ate directly in the hotel, which was also very good.
The whole manor is very large. It is recommended that everyone stay here during the peak season. We will come again.

There is Hada, there is a sheep and cattle drive, dinner can be booked, there is a hot pot and a Tibetan set meal, 2 people 300. There is a light meal all day, and customers in the store are 20% off. Breakfast is Western and Chinese. Sitting outside for breakfast and watching the scenery is really enjoyable. A great surprise place. Quiet. Recommended! Value for money!

We stayed on the second and third floors, and they carried our luggage up there. They recommended delicious food and kept us warm. They even gave us a fridge magnet when we left! A must-stay when visiting Labrang Monastery! Clean and tidy! And so welcoming!

Location and Natural Beauty
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip.
Service is in the Details
What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.”

XxjgxyzIt was very refreshing to listen to the sound of running water and look at the Sangke grassland by the Daxia River. The hotel recommended by a friend has floor heating, which is particularly warm. I stayed there for one night yesterday. The environment was very good, the boss was very enthusiastic, and the roasted lamb ordered in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. I recommend it.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed three nights at Nirvana Resort in early July and loved our time there. Spectacular location, the grasslands are alive with flowers and birds, and everyone at Nirvana was kind and helpful. We had our own car (ideal if possible) and alongside visiting Labrang Monastery and walking in the nearby hills, we also enjoyed driving around the backroads into Qinghai and immersing ourselves in the landscape. At the end of each day it was perfect to climb the hill to the Sky Bar and drink a beer while watching the land grow dark.

GGuest UserThe homestay is in the center of the attraction, with a wide view and beautiful scenery. The room is clean and tidy. The parent-child room I chose is two floors. There are 3 buildings. There is a separate bathroom electronic toilet, hot water supply, low temperature at night, electric heaters and electric blankets, but the bathroom is on the first floor. Go to the second floor from the outside stairs. I want to go to the toilet in the middle of the night and go down to the first floor. It’s cold. And we chose the room late, and the divided family room is very close to the public toilet. This is the only thing that is not satisfied. You can eat in the yard. It is a small hot pot with yak beef. If you are high on the first day, it is recommended to eat less meat.
