TTanjunhuaerThis is a very nice guesthouse. The decor is Tibetan-style, the owner is super nice, and parking is convenient. The lobby on the first floor is perfect for afternoon tea. The rooms are also very comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in need.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is super close to Labrang Monastery, within walking distance. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was soft, and the lighting was great, making for a very comfortable stay. The owners were very thoughtful; they even provided oxygen cylinders, so there was absolutely no need to worry about altitude sickness. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xiahe! 👏👏

GGuest UserOur stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival.
The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason.

GGuest UserThis is a very unique and beautiful Tibetan-style guesthouse. The rooms were very clean, and there was plenty of hot water for showering. Breakfast is provided; it's simple but delicious. There's a famous restaurant nearby specializing in ******* cuisine, which we tried and highly recommend!

GGuest UserIncredible stay at the Xicheng Inn. The hotel is very cozy with fascinating decor. I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover ******* culture. I recommend staying here not only for the comfort of the hotel but also for the wonderfully warm atmosphere.

GGuest UserWe were four girls and the owner was really nice. The room was very unique. He brought us hot water and blankets at night. We drove there ourselves, and he patiently showed us where to park. We'll definitely stay here again next time! Five-star recommendation!

GGuest UserWe rushed directly from Aba to check in near Lapuleng Monastery. This B&B is right opposite the Lapuleng Monastery, which is very convenient for visiting the temple the next day. It's a newly opened B&B and not easy to find. After calling, the owner drove over to show us the way. The disposable toiletries were good. The room was newly renovated, odorless, and very quiet. The owner recommended Jiang Meili Hot Pot nearby, where we had a local specialty yak beef hot pot. The portion was quite large and delicious. 😋 Overall, this B&B is quite good and worth staying in.

GGuest UserThis is great hotel and with a few minor improvements it could be an outstanding hotel. It's location couldn't be better as it is directly across the street from the entrance to the Longram Monastery and very near the main street. The hotel has an interesting ******* character and has its own good restaurant. We were assigned a very large and comfortable room. The staff were at all times friendly and welcoming. My minor complaints were the absence of any English speakers (admittedly an issue at almost all the hotels we have stayed at in China), the bathroom towels were a bit raged, and the internet connection was weak.

PPaopaoyucclThe hotel is located right opposite Labrang Monastery. It's clean and tidy, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. In the evening, you can explore the surrounding area, and in the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you can walk straight to the scenic spot.

NNikoas4The hotel is extremely close to the monastery. Some people at the reception speak english and they can book you a private tour to visit the grasslands and the monasteries outside the city that otherwise would be unreacheables for 400rmb per vehicle. The room is big and the beds are warm.
