Yilan Hotels with Breakfast

"Overall, the room was spacious enough for a one-night stay, and the facilities were new and clean. However, the stated check-in time (3:00 pm) did not reflect the actual situation, as we were told to return at 3:30 pm to check in. We understand that hotel staff in Taiwan may not be as flexible as their counterparts in countries like China and Malaysia, where tourists are often allowed to check in earlier if their reserved room is already ready, even before the official check-in time. Travelers are usually quite tired when they arrive at their hotel and often hope to check in and rest before heading out again. Being a little more considerate in such situations would give international guests a warmer impression."

"The outdoor facilities are great for kids; mine loved the paddle boats and trampolines. Right next door, there's a small animal petting zoo with meerkats, capybaras, giant tortoises, alpacas, and more. They're absolutely adorable! You can get up close to pet and feed them. The capybara-themed shaved ice and chocolate egg waffles at the snack bar were also super cute and delicious. However, there were a few downsides. The bathroom in our room was spacious but didn't have a door, which felt a bit odd. The soundproofing wasn't great; we could clearly hear people talking loudly outside. Additionally, one of the bed frames creaked whenever we moved, and the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. It would be much better if these issues were addressed. On a positive note, breakfast was pretty good, and it was served as individual portions."

"The older lady working the morning shift provided really poor service. I had messaged them in advance to request a quieter room and to ask for more vegetables for my vegetarian meal. I'm not sure if they read it and ignored it, or just didn't bother to check, but when I checked in, I reiterated my requests. Her attitude was very firm, stating that she could only arrange what she saw fit. She also said the kitchen was being disinfected, so they couldn't offer the buffet breakfast. For vegetarians, it was just two slices of toast with jam, which was a huge difference from the abundant breakfast shown in the pictures. If they couldn't provide it, shouldn't they have called me to let me know so I could cancel or extend my stay? Also, the soundproofing is terrible; I was woken up at 5 AM by loud thumping noises from upstairs. All in all, I don't recommend this hotel."

"1. The wall cancer has not been treated. It is understandable that the environment is humid, but the ventilation can be improved. 2. The air conditioner is very unhygienic, the filter is not cleaned, and there is a bit of mold inside 3. The location is OK, but parking spaces are limited"
