"Prince Hotel Jiaoxi is in an excellent location. Downstairs, you'll find KFC and Lu Zhi Xiang Duck Vermicelli, and right across the street is Yishunxuan Bakery, a famous local spot in Jiaoxi. It's within a 10-minute walk from both the train station and the transfer station. The front desk staff are all very friendly. The pillows, sheets, and bathtub in the room were all meticulously clean. It's a small but lovely place that I highly recommend."

"The hotel's front desk staff were very welcoming, and the parking lot security guards were super friendly too. The hotel is very close to the train station, making it easy to walk everywhere. The room was a little old but extremely clean, and the bathrobes were both comfortable and cute. The hotel has private hot springs, with each room having its own soaking tub, filled with the same hot spring water, which was incredibly relaxing. The Sanyou Ramen restaurant downstairs is delicious, and hotel guests even get a discount."

"Overall, the room was spacious enough for a one-night stay, and the facilities were new and clean. However, the stated check-in time (3:00 pm) did not reflect the actual situation, as we were told to return at 3:30 pm to check in.
We understand that hotel staff in Taiwan may not be as flexible as their counterparts in countries like China and Malaysia, where tourists are often allowed to check in earlier if their reserved room is already ready, even before the official check-in time. Travelers are usually quite tired when they arrive at their hotel and often hope to check in and rest before heading out again. Being a little more considerate in such situations would give international guests a warmer impression."

There are some excellent small restaurants nearby that I won't spoil for you; you can discover them yourself."

The Crownshine Resort is located in the famous Jiaoxi hot spring area in Taiwan. It can be reached through the snow mountain tunnel. It is about 900 meters away from Jiaoxi Railway Station and about 200 meters away from Tangweigou Tangwei Bathing Beach. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is a rare flat hot spring. It is a sodium bicarbonate spring with a water temperature of 58°C 40 meters underground. It is colorless and odorless. What is even more rare is that it is the only hot spring in the world except Italy that is rich in "titanium phenate". It has a beautifying and nourishing effect, and the skin will feel smooth and non-sticky after washing. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is rich in mineral components such as sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and carbonate ions, and is known as the "hot spring among hot springs." Hotel rooms are equipped with air conditioning, LED TV (cable channels), electric kettle, refrigerator, bathroom (with bathtub), free toiletries, bathrobe, hair dryer, and free high-speed Internet (WIFI) throughout the hotel. The hotel has a buffet restaurant, conference rooms, gym, spa and oven facilities. The front desk is open 24 hours a day and provides services such as luggage storage and wake-up calls. Parking is free The transportation is super convenient and the accommodation is the easiest. The hotel is located next to Jiaoxi Wenquangou Park. It has a simple Japanese-style architectural appearance and a spacious and bright lobby. The hotel also has an outdoor bath covering an area of 400 square meters, a variety of SPA massage pools, children's activity pools, health pools, hot spring fish pools, ovens, foot baths, five elements hot springs and other hot springs. Crownshine Resort provides you with a space to completely relax and enjoy hot spring health, food and leisure travel.
"The location is a bit tricky, but the hotel offers a free shuttle service, so if you make a reservation, getting to and from the hotel is quite easy. Aside from that, as a newly built hotel, the facilities are excellent, the room condition is very clean, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. It seems there's always at least one English-speaking person at the front desk. While communication in English can be a bit challenging otherwise, the staff's extreme kindness more than makes up for it. We had a wonderful and relaxing 3-day, 2-night stay. If I had known it would be this good, I would have stayed a few more days. The weather was a bit disappointing, but since we were mainly there for the hot springs, it wasn't a big problem. For those planning to use the hot springs, you absolutely must bring a swimming cap, otherwise, you'll have to buy one there."

"The location of hotel cannot be better, as it is right across the front of Luodong train station. We arrived by Kamalan 1917 bus from Taipei Main Station to Luodong transfer bus station which is around 8 mins walk away from the train station.
Reception is located at Level 9 of the hotel, with complimentary drinks and seats for hotel guests. We left our bags at reception as we arrived before check in time of 3pm.
Room is very spacious and good for 4 ppl. We were given a room at Level 12 which had a nice view of the train station. Toilet is rather dated. We also received breakfast vouchers NT100 per person, which gave us options to get breakfast from 3 merchants.
Overall, a good stay and highly recommended for its location!"

"Check-in and check-out were both self-service, and the staff called to ask me to add them on their official Line account beforehand. The messages and signage at the counter were very clear, so the process was quite smooth.
I changed into indoor slippers on the first floor. The space was small but very comfortable, and there were no strange smells in the room. Because of its location on the bustling Jiaoxi Road, you inevitably experience traffic, and other guests can be heard talking quite loudly 😅
If you're not a light sleeper and like to explore during the day, I would highly recommend this place: besides attractions and popular restaurants, there are convenience stores and drugstores nearby, so you can easily stock up on necessities; for those who don't drive or cycle, there are bus stops where you can take a bus or coach to walk a bit further and then come back in the evening to relax in the hot springs.
The only minor complaint is that on the day of my check-in, there was a lot of hair from previous guests on the bathroom floor 🥲, and the water temperature was a bit low on the second night (the first night was truly a hot spring, amazing!)."

"Conveniently located near Jiaoxi Station, just a 10-minute walk away. The bohemian-style decor gives it a wonderful resort vibe. The in-room bathtub is huge, easily accommodating a family of three, four, or even five people! 😂 The air conditioning works great, keeping the room cool. For breakfast, they provide vouchers for you to enjoy a meal at the nearby Mos Burger. The self-service drinks, coffee, and snacks available in the lobby are a nice touch. However, during our stay, the 6th-floor toy room and foot bath were under maintenance, so we could only take pictures. Overall, it's a great family-friendly hotel. 👍 The surrounding area near Tangweigou is also very lively, and with a 7-Eleven right downstairs, you'll never go hungry – super convenient! 😁"

VVkwanAwesome hot spring hotel with spectacular view at rooftop pool, movie night and hot spring. Breakfast buffet and spacious room and in room amenities. Highly recommended and definitely will stay there again. Dinner at hotel restaurant because it’s raining, tasty and great service but feel a bit rush with 100 minutes time limit.

潔潔JessThe service here is impeccable, truly! All the staff are incredibly friendly. My kids absolutely loved the children's play area on the second floor. The hot spring bath in our room was so spacious and wonderfully relaxing – pure bliss! The breakfast selection was also excellent, and we enjoyed the oden available in the evenings.

GGuest UserThe staff were incredibly friendly, and there was even a Cantonese-speaking staff member who helped answer our questions. Housekeeping was very prompt in delivering requested items, very responsible. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Jiaoxi Train Station. While the Jiaoxi Transfer Station is a bit further, it's still an acceptable walk within 12-15 minutes, and a taxi isn't expensive. I recommend taking the bus for a quick and convenient trip to and from Taipei or Taoyuan Airport.

SSIXANA四周有田園風光非常美麗，房間裡有小型兒童遊戲器材，小朋友非常喜歡玩的都不想出門，門口有自行車車可以借，可惜因為天氣很熱，大家在陽台看風景就好！哈哈哈，浴室裡面浴缸非常大，不過大家在同萬劫完成完夠了沒有使用到很可惜，以後冬天來的時候泡湯一定很讚！很滿意的地方！晚上去羅東夜市吃東西，愜意的理由！

DdyhxConvenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too.
The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.

GGuest UserThe hotel breakfast staff were incredibly polite and always smiling, making the start of the day very pleasant. The restaurant area even preserved the original large trees, designing around them beautifully, and they are very well-maintained – fantastic! The bathroom and soaking tub in our room type this time were quite spacious, giving a very comfortable feeling. 👍
However, there was a thick layer of dust on some counter surfaces in the room and under the bed, which might need more attention from housekeeping.

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.
